El manager del
Xeneize brindó una conferencia de prensa en busca de reducir la cantidad de
rumores que circulan tras la eliminación contra River.
La eliminación
frente a River de la Copa Libertadores volvió a sacudir los cimientos del mundo
Boca y generó todo tipo de versiones y especulaciones acerca del futuro, esta
vez potenciadas por las inminentes elecciones que habrá en el club. Por eso, en
medio de la ola de rumores, Nicolás Burdisso decidió brindar una conferencia de
prensa en busca de llevar claridad sobre algunas de las cuestiones más nebulosas
en el Xeneize. En especial, el futuro del entrenador Gustavo Aldaro, del
capitán Carlos Tevez y del italiano Daniele De Rossi.
El caso del DT es
el más particular porque fue él mismo el que puso un signo de interrogación a
su continuidad luego de diciembre, con una conferencia de prensa que tuvo sabor
a despedida anticipada apenas consumada la derrota en la serie con el
Millonario. Sin entrar en valoraciones sobre lo que dijo el técnico, el manager
dejó en claro que por su parte están las puertas abiertas para que continúe:
"No es mi tarea evaluar lo que dijo, sino cómo trabaja en el día a día con
los jugadores, cómo prepara los partidos. Desde que empezamos a trabajar hasta
ahora, yo veo entero y lúcido a Alfaro. Gustavo se sostuvo él, con sus resultados.
Construimos un equipo competitivo: estamos punteros en la liga y terminamos
entre los cuatro mejores de América".
Burdisso, además,
reveló que le había ofrecido al entrenador la renovación de su contrato mucho
antes del cruce contra River: "Cuando pasamos la llave de cuartos de final
con Liga de Quito, les plantee al presidente y al DT que confirmáramos su
continuidad, pero tanto Gustavo como Angelici me dijeron que no era el
momento”.
En cuanto al caso
de Tevez, cuyo vínculo también se termina a fin de año, el secretario técnico
fue mucho menos enfático: "No es momento de hablar de la renovación de
Carlos. En el momento justo tomaremos una decisión. Buscaremos lo mejor para
Boca. Eso sucederá con cualquier jugador". Distinta fue la respuesta, en
cambio, cuando tuvo que referirse al caso De Rossi, aunque es cierto que el
italiano tiene contrato hasta mediados del año que viene: "Daniele va a
estar en la pretemporada en enero. Él vino a la Argentina para jugar en Boca,
quiso forzar para estar contra River y se agravó su lesión. Esperamos tenerlo
en cancha lo antes posible".
Por otra parte,
Burdisso también se refirió a su propio futuro y dejó en claro que su
continuidad no depende del resultado de las elecciones: "La situación
política no tiene nada que ver con la situación deportiva. Así empezamos a
trabajar en enero y cuando termine este año, me tocará a mí hacer una
evaluación deportiva con los dirigentes”.
