La
disputa entre Deportes Tolima y América de Cali por el caso Carrascal puede cambiar
los clasificados a los Cuadrangulares y el descenso.
La fase
regular de la Liga Águila 2019-II está a punto de llegar a su fin y este martes
se conocerán los ocho clasificados a los Cuadrangulares y los descendidos. La
historia parecía estar escrita por lo ocurrido en los campos durante todo el
campeonato, pero la definición del Clausura podría dar un giro inesperado a
cuenta de la disputa que tuvieron Deportes Tolima y América de Cali al comienzo
del semestre por el fichaje de Rafael Carrascal.
Este
caso generó una pelea en el escritorio entre el Pijao y Rionegro Águilas que,
en principio, Dimayor falló a favor del cuadro antioqueño otorgándole tres
puntos por la inscripción indebida de Carrascal. Los de Ibagué llevaron la
pelea hasta el TAS, ente que podría regresarle los puntos, aunque no lo haría
antes de que termine el campeonato. Cabe destacar que el equipo dorado está
complicado por el descenso, por lo que cada unidad es vital para mantenerse en
la máxima categoría.

Pero
este no es el único caso que tiene pendiente el TAS por definir en el FPC.
Envigado también entabló un recurso ante el Tribunal para pedir los puntos que
perdió ante América de Cali en la fecha ocho (por el mismo tema Carrascal),
algo que pone en vilo su clasificación a los Cuadrangulares, que hasta la fecha
tiene asegurada con 32 unidades.
Así las
cosas, en caso que América de Cali no logre vencer a Deportivo Pasto en la
última fecha y el TAS decida quitarle los puntos ganados al cuadro naranja, el
equipo caleño quedaría eliminado del grupo de los ocho. Es importante aclarar
que el TAS puede desestimar todas las solicitudes y dejar la situación tal como
está.
