La novena jornada nos dejó el primer 'pinchazo' del Liverpool, un empate ante el Manchester United que frena su racha de victorias. El Tottenham continúa sin arrancar este año y el Leicester no se baja de los puestos de Champions. Marcos Alonso está cada día más asentado en el once del Chelsea. Estos fueron los once mejores jugadores de la Premier League:
-Roberto (West Ham): el guardameta español fue la nota positiva del West Ham en su visita al Goodison Park. El West Ham perdió por dos goles ante el Everton pero Roberto salvó a su equipo de una goleada mayor, paró cinco tiros dentro del área.
-Pereira (Leicester): sigue firmando una temporada extraordinaria. Ante el Burnley volvió a firmar una fantástica actuación que se tradujo en un quebradero de cabeza para los rivales.
-Zouma (Chelsea): partidazo del jugador del Chelsea ante el Newcastle. El central defendió a veinte metros de su portería porque se sentía tan seguro de que sabía que nadie pasaría. Ganó prácticamente sus duelos, un total de 9 y solo cometió dos faltas.
-Marcos Alonso (Chelsea): ha recuperado la estabilidad y vuelve a ser el dueño de la banda izquierda del Chelsea. Cuando muchos ya empezaban a dudar en el triunfo llegó para definir a gol con un zurdazo imparable. Gol importante, tanto para el Chelsea como para Marcos.
-Sigurdsson (Everton): firmó una obra de arte para sentenciar una victoria importantísima para el Everton. La paró, sin apenas espacio, la colocó, y el resto fue un éxtasis mayúsculo en las gradas de Goodison Park.
-Jack Grealish (Aston Villa): uno de los grandes protagonistas de un triunfo para el Aston Villa que es oxígeno puro. Marcó el empate que generaría un nuevo contexto en el momento clave. A partir de ahí, rozó el recital. Clave en la remontada ante el Brighton.
-David Silva (Manchester City): el canario ya juega para ampliar su legado en la historia del Manchester City. Timón del juego cityzen y calidad a raudales para anotar una obra de arte en la victoria de los suyos ante el Crystal Palace.
-Lallana (Liverpool): 36 partido después volvió a anotar Adam Lallana para el Liverpool. Un héroe sin capa apareció en Old Trafford para rascar un punto y evitar una derrota frente al Manchester United a falta de 5 minutos para el final.
-Bernard (Everton): marcó uno de los golazos del fin de semana en las islas británicas y en el viejo continente. Tras varios recortes, cuando ya nadie confiaba, se sacó un golpeo mágico para dar el primer golpe de los toffees ante el West Ham.
-Jamie Vardy (Leicester): el Leicester quiere entrar en el Big Six a base de goles y Jamie Vardy es el encargado de anotarlos para los foxes. El delantero inició la remontada con un fantástico cabezazo antes del descanso. El artillero apareció para abrir la herida a un Burnley que acabó perdiendo en su visita al King Power.
-Gabriel Jesús (Manchester City): abrió el marcador en Selhurst Park con un cabezazo perfecto y se mostró muy activo creando ocasiones y abriendo espacios. Hace menos ruido que otros, pero sus cifras son importantes desde que llegó a Inglaterra.
