Una de las grandes decepciones de este principio de temporada es Eder Militao, que no cuenta con minutos en el Real Madrid ni confianza con Brasil
Eder Militao fue una de las grandes apuestas por parte del Real Madrid en el pasado mercado de fichajes veraniego. El defensa brasileño cambió Oporto por la capital de España por 50 millones de euros como una de las esperanzas más fuertes para la defensa del equipo merengue.
Sin embargo, al central no le están saliendo las cosas como esperaba, ni tanto con el equipo de Concha Espina, ni con su selección, Brasil, donde también ha sido señalado por sus errores defensivos.
Empezando por el equipo merengue, Militao no ha tenido mucho tiempo para demostrar su calidad y oficio al frente de la zaga. En Liga solo ha jugado en dos encuentros: media hora ante el Levante y los 90 minutos ante el Osasuna.
En su debut oficial en la Liga Santander, el defensa entró para jugar la última media hora, y en ese tiempo el cuadro granota anotó un tanto y se quedó muy cerca de empatar y dar la sorpresa en el Santiago Bernabéu.
No fue una carta de presentación de lo más halagueña, pero lo peor estaba por llegar. En el Parque de los Príncipes, el PSG goleó al Real Madrid por 3-0 y Militao no pudo hacer nada para evitar el control de los locales del encuentro.
Sin embargo, y a pesar de que su imagen quedó muy tocada, el encuentro ante el Osasuna fue más tranquilo, manteniendo la portería a cero, y no teniendo excesivos problemas para defender el resultado.
Militao, de todas formas, no termina de entrar en los planes de su entrenador, y los datos son más que elocuentes. 210 minutos totales en 3 partidos son cifras realmente pobres para un central que tiene las expectativas muy altas.
Con Brasil tampoco mejora la situación. En el último encuentro ante Senegal, no jugó un solo minuto, tras participar en la derrota ante Perú en el anterior parón de selecciones, en el mes de septiembre.
En definitiva, queda tiempo de margen para analizar de forma más profunda el rendimiento de Militao, pero los días van pasando y su imagen va quedando más tocada a medida que pasa.
