Finalmente el uruguayo entró pero en lugar de Barcos, dándole nuevamente un partido completo a Perlaza que aún no termina de convencer y levanta rechifla en el público constantemente.
Nacional no tuvo que emplearse a fondo para ser más que su rival, le bastó con hacer el trabajo de siempre y no cambiar el libreto. Sí quedó la sensación que pudo hacer más goles y que en parte del segundo tiempo prefirió no pisar el acelerador a fondo pensando en los partidos que vienen. También, que Tolima no tuvo el acierto y la suerte de los juegos anteriores cuando atacó con sus letales transiciones al ataque.
Victoria de Nacional ante Tolima, un titular que antes del 2018 fue tan recurrente como escaso después, desde aquella final. El Verdolaga recuperó el segundo lugar en la tabla de posiciones y en su próxima salida tendrá la posibilidad de quedarse como único líder cuando visite al Alianza Petrolera.
