Boca empató 1-1 ante Newell's en La Bombonera y, aunque sigue siendo el único líder e invicto de la Superliga, podría perder la punta si Talleres le gana el domingo a Independiente. Sin embargo, ya desde antes de este partido, la cabeza de todos los hinchas, de los jugadores y del cuerpo técnico estaba en el martes, cuando los dirigidos por Gustavo Alfaro enfrentarán a River por la ida de las semifinales de la Copa Libertadores.
