Ciro Immobile, a pase del español Luis Alberto en la primera mitad, y el serbio Adam Marusic, en la reanudación, acabaron con el Parma en el estadio Olímpico romano y permitieron al cuadro de Simone Inzaghi alcanzar la quinta posición, con siete puntos, a cinco del líder Inter de Milán.
La victoria fue una liberación para un Lazio que había empezado la temporada de la mejor manera, con una goleada por 3-0 en el campo del Sampdoria, y que después se atascó, al empatar 1-1 con el Roma y al perder 2-1 la semana pasada en su visita al Spal de Ferrara.
Las dificultades del Lazio se agudizaron el pasado jueves, con el revés 1-2 padecido en la Liga Europa contra el Cluj, pero los hombres de Inzaghi consiguieron cortar la mala racha este domingo con una actuación convincente para celebrar su primera victoria del curso ante su afición.
El triunfo pudo ser aún más contundente para el cuadro romano, que rozó el tercer tanto con un saque de esquina de Luis Alberto que impactó en un poste y con un derechazo del serbio Sergej Milinkovic-Savic que acabó fuera por poco.
Con este triunfo, el Lazio mantuvo el ritmo del Roma, cuarto y ganador este domingo en Bolonia (2-1), y del Nápoles, tercero y vencedor en el campo del Lecce (4-1) con doblete del español Fernando Llorente y diana de su compatriota Fabián Ruiz.
