Rusia vs Croacia
Ni en sus sueños más locos los fanáticos rusos pensaron que su lado no deseado llegaría tan lejos, pero ahora tienen una posibilidad muy real de avanzar a una semifinal de la Copa del Mundo mientras se preparan para un choque europeo con Croacia. Sochi es el lugar y seguramente será un ambiente de grietas, pero siguen siendo los croatas los que entran en el juego como favoritos para enviar al país anfitrión a empacar.
Ambas partes necesitaban penales para llegar a esta etapa. Croacia confirmó su reputación como un equipo que puede hacer mucho frío y calor con una actuación menos impresionante en sus últimos 16 partidos con Dinamarca.
