Cristiano Ronaldo vuelve a hacer historia. Con sus cuatro goles contra Lituania, el delantero portugués se convirtió en el máximo goleador histórico de las rondas clasificatorias de la Eurocopa, con 25 goles, dos más que el irlandés Robbie Keane, y pasó también la barrera de los 90 tantos con su selección (93). Con la guía de Cristiano, que fue el más destacado de su selección, Portugal ganó un partido que dominó desde el primer momento, aunque se le complicó durante varios minutos de la primera parte. Esta victoria en Vilnius permite a la selección dirigida por Fernando Santos cerrar este parón FIFA con dos triunfos, tras el logrado el pasado sábado en Belgrado contra Serbia.
