Trabajar el presente sin olvidarse del futuro. Y si el futuro llega antes de lo esperado, mejor. Ése es el mantra que Tite adoptó tras ganar la Copa América y que le guía hacia el Mundial de 2022. Ante esta realidad, el seleccionador brasileño se ha marcado dos proyectos personales: Neymar (27 años) y Vinicius (19). Dos jugadores por los que Tite admite sentir "compromiso y preocupación" de cuidarles ante los momentos que están viviendo en sus clubes. Y les ha prestado atención especial estos días.
Neymar se enfrenta una situación de indefinición en el PSG y el técnico se ha visto obligado a mimarle. Y también de pensar en un plan de emergencia en el caso de otra lesión o crisis personal. Ahí es donde entra Vinicius.
Tite está encantado con el joven delantero y le ve como un diamante en bruto que posee las mismas características de Neymar. Su explosión, habilidad y, por encima de todo, su personalidad para no intimidarse. Y pretende prepararle para ser ser el futuro sustituto del ídolo y el líder de Brasil. Pero tiene miedo de que se le exija madurez y regularidad en el Madrid de manera precipitada y ve la necesidad de blindarle para que pueda desarrollar "su talento descomunal". Tite explicó a As que habla todos los días con Vinicius y ha pedido especialmente a Casemiro que le ayude a cuidar el lado emocional del muchacho.
"La irregularidad es algo natural a su edad"
El seleccionador de Brasil dedicó gran parte de su conferencia de prensa previa al amistoso de esta noche a hablar de Vinicius. El interés de los medios presentes por el joven delantero del Real Madrid y las ganas del seleccionador de hablar de su preocupación con el desarrollo de su protegido fueron el tema del día, eclipsando incluso el regreso de Neymar a la pentacampeona del mundo. "Vinicius tiene seis... siete marchas. Por su velocidad, increíble. Y la irregularidad es algo natural para un chico de su edad. He hablado mucho con él los últimos días. Es un muchacho estupendo que tiene un talento extraordinario, pero las cosas están pasando muy rápido en su vida. Y cuando le vemos jugar en el Real Madrid al nivel que ha presentado, sobrevaloramos su capacidad de madurar. Nos olvidamos que tiene tan sólo 19 años. Tenemos que darle tiempo. Y tener mucho cuidado con él", afirmó Tite. El técnico le ve como el relevo natural para Neymar y cree que "es parte de su ADN jugar por la izquierda", aunque "es bueno que tenga experiencia en otras posiciones para su desarrollo".
Brasil se mide a Colombia en el regreso de Neymar
Tres meses después de su lesión en el tobillo en el amistoso ante Qatar, Neymar (27 años) finalmente volverá a jugar con la verdeamarelha. Será esta noche en Miami ante Colombia. Tite afirmó que Ney comenzará como titular y que "está preocupado" por no saber cuándo su gran estrella volverá a jugar en el PSG: "Sólo tengo control de la selección brasileña y es mi responsabilidad que aquí pueda tener todos los minutos que pueda. Sobre el club, lo único que puedo hacer es desear que las cosas se arreglen".
Casemiro (27 años) también formará parte de un once titular que tendrá figuras como Dani Alves (36), Thiago Silva (34), Arthur (23), Coutinho (27) o Firmino (27). Militao (21) estará en el banquillo junto a Vinicius (19), que será el suplente directo de Neymar por la banda izquierda. Sin Falcao (33) o James (27), Queiroz hará pruebas con caras nuevas tras su decepcionante eliminación en la Copa América.
