El verano es sinónimo de fichajes. Muchos fichajes. Y aún más rumores. El mercado de fichajes de las diferentes grandes ligas tiene fechas de apertura y de cierre diferentes, a pesar de que esté extendida la certeza de que los mercados abren el 1 de julio y cierran el 31 de agosto. No siempre es así.
De hecho, son muchos los equipos que firman y anuncian jugadores antes de la fecha tan señalada que es el 1 de julio. Los tiempos del mercado de fichajes están marcados por la FIFA, pero las ligas pueden llegar a acuerdos internos para acortar el tiempo, aunque siempre prevalezcan las normas marcadas por el TMS (Transfer Matching System).
Son muchos los nombres que sobrevuelan estos últimos días de mercado, pero uno por encima del resto: el de Neymar Jr. El culebrón se ha extendido durante todo el verano y llegará a su fin en los próximos días. Otros jugadores como Keylor Navas, Areola, Falcao, Correa, Rodrigo Moreno, Rakitic o Pogba verán cómo se resuelve su futuro en las últimas hora de mercado.
Son las federaciones nacionales las que realmente se encargan de inscribir a los jugadores, las compras y las ventas de cada equipo. A partir de ahí, el TMS es el sistema que aprueba de manera definitiva las operaciones. Puede haber acuerdo entre clubes y con el futbolista, pero si la compra (o venta) no pasa por el TMS el fichaje quedará en suspenso y tendrá luz verde.
