Dos equipos que buscan regresar a la senda del triunfo se ven las caras en el Estadio Azteca cuando la Máquina Cementera de la Cruz Azul reciba la visita de las Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara.
La irregularidad de la Máquina en este Torneo Apertura 2019 continua. Después de una racha en donde ganaron tres partidos de manera consecutiva, los dirigidos por Pedro Caixinha suman dos jornadas sin ganar, incluyendo una derrota de 3-2 ante Xolos de Tijuana. Enfrente tendrán a un equipo de Chivas que también llega a cuestas de una derrota después de que los rojiblancos perdieran 2-1 ante el Necaxa. Así como Cruz Azul, Chivas sigue sin dar el salto en el Apertura y actualmente se encuentra fuera de los puestos de Liguilla, en el lugar 14 con solamente 7 puntos.
Cruz Azul siempre presente en el Azteca
En el papel, este partido de la Máquina parece ser el partido perfecto para que los de Pedro Caixinha vuelvan a sumar de a tres. Y es que a pesar de la irregularidad que ha vivido Cruz Azul a lo largo de este Apertura, una de las constantes ha sido su record positivo como local. El Estadio Azteca ha sido el escenario en donde Cruz Azul se ha visto más fuerte en las últimas semanas, y en total suma nueve partidos seguidos de Liga MX sin perder. Dentro de esta racha de nueve partidos, la Máquina consiguió llevarse los tres puntos en seis, incluyendo victorias ante equipos grandes como los Pumas y el Cruz Azul.

Dicho eso, cabe mencionar que la última vez que estos dos equipos chocaron en el Estadio Azteca, fue justamente el equipo de Chivas el que se llevó los tres puntos. De hecho, por alguna razón u otra, en los últimos torneos Cruz Azul ha tenido sus problemas ante Chivas como local. En total, Cruz Azul solamente ha obtenido la victoria una vez en sus últimos cinco partidos de local frente a los Rojiblancos.

Creemos que todo apunta a que este partido terminará en empate. Chivas ha tenido éxito en el Estadio Azteca, pero últimamente, Cruz Azul ha logrado evitar la derrota en más de una ocasión.
