Tottenham submit improved €70m Paz transfer bid
According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs saw their second transfer bid for Nico Paz rejected on Sunday evening. The Premier League club's initial bid worth €40 million (£34.6m) was also knocked back by Como, who are determined to keep hold of the Argentine midfielder for at least one more season.
The report adds that Paz wants to stay at Como this season, but sees his long-term future at his boyhood club Real Madrid. Los Blancos inserted a clause in the deal for Paz to join Como last year that would have allowed them to match any offer that came the Italian club's way this summer. The Spanish giants also have a €10m buy-back clause on Paz that becomes active in 2026, which they are planning to trigger before compensating Como further in the future.

The report claims that United could be open to a €5 million loan deal with an obligation to buy for an additional €40 million (£35m/$47m).
