La Copa América de Brasil 2019 esta la vuelta de la esquina y Ricardo Gareca ya tiene definido a quienes llevará para que representen a la selección peruana. El Dt argentino ya tiene la lista final de 23 jugadores, sin embargo, primero dará a conocer una nómina de 40 por si algunos de sus "consagrados" sufre una lesión que los impida llegar al país de la zamba.
Ricardo Gareca tiene un grupo cerrado el cual respalda a muerte. Como en varias veces lo ha dicho, se tiene que ser agradecido por quienes llevaron a Perú al Mundial de Rusia 2018 luego de 36 años.
