Una final más de Clásico Regio se vivió, ahora en su edición de Liga MX Femenil. Aquí te presentamos el balance de ambos equipos cuando han definido un título en casa.
El Clásico Regio ha sido el tema más comentado en Nuevo León en las últimas semanas. Primero por la definición del título de Concacaf entre Rayados y Tigres. Posteriormente en el duelo decisivo de Liga MX Femenil y ahora por las semifinales del Clausura 2019.
Con la final entre Rayadas y felinas en el presente Clausura 2019, es la final número 14 entre ambas instituciones que se define en sus actuales estadios. Los albiazules, a pesar de tener un nuevo estadio, ya acumulan siete duelos por el campeonato en tan solo cuatro años. Dichos números son similares a los universitarios en el Volcán, aunque la historia es en 51 años.
Rayados, seis finales perdidas en el BBVA en cuatro años
El Gigante de Acero fue inaugurado en agosto de 2015. Desde entonces, las finales y la disputa de trofeos se han vuelto común para la institución albiazul. Sin embargo, el definir los campeonatos en calidad de local, no ha sido garantía.
Monterrey ha disputado siete finales y ha caído en cinco de ellas. La primera de ellas fue en el Clausura 2016 de Liga MX ante Pachuca. La segunda fue la primera Final Regia, la cual se desarrolló en el Apertura 2017. Sufrió misma suerte en la Copa MX del Apertura 2018 ante Cruz Azul y en las dos Finales Regias Femeniles, en el Clausura 2018 y Clausura 2019.
Las finales que rompieron el maleficio fueron en la Copa MX del Apertura 2017 ante Pachuca y la reciente Final Regia de Concacaf ante Tigres.
Tigres, tres finales perdidas en el Volcán desde 1967
Los nicolaitas tienen la misma cantidad de finales en su casa pero en mucho más tiempo de jugar en su actual inmueble. De hecho, durante 34 años el Volcán solamente había sido escenario de un partido por el título.
La primera de ellas fue para definir al monarca de Copa MX de la temporada 1975-76. Tigres venció al América en su casa por 2-0, para un global de 3-2, y así lograr su primer título oficial. Tuvieron que pasar 25 años para una final en el inmueble de San Nicolás de los Garza. En el Invierno 2001 cayó ante Pachuca, dosis que le repitieron los Tuzos dos años más tarde en el Apertura 2003.
Ocho años más tarde, una final de Liga MX volvió a ser apreciada por los asistentes del Volcán. Ahora fue con triunfo sobre Santos en el Apertura 2011. En 2014 hicieron lo propio ante Alebrijes en la Copa MX del Clausura 2014 y derrotó en penales al América en el Apertura 2016.
La más reciente de todas fue con descalabro para las felinas en la Liga MX Femenil. La institución de Coapa tomó venganza, igualmente en penales, en el Apertura 2018.
