Raspadori: I will give everything for Atletico Madrid
Giacomo Raspadori is thrilled with his move to Atletico Madrid.
The former Napoli attacker has joined Atletico for a fee of €21m plus €4m in bonuses.
Raspadori has signed a deal to 2030 and said through the club's media channels: "I'm very happy, and excited, too, because I don't think I could ever imagine wearing the shirt of such an important club in my wildest dreams.
"I'm really proud to have this opportunity and I'm eager to get out onto the pitch. I'm eager to make the fans happy, together with the team. I'm really motivated, very happy.
"Winning two Italian league titles has been very important. Without a doubt, I'm coming here with a lot of desire, a lot of energy, and I'll do everything possible, along with my teammates, to win something here too . I think there's nothing more beautiful than winning trophies with sacrifice, sweat, and determination."
On what he can bring to Atletico, Raspadori added: "I think I can define myself as respectful and very ambitious above all else. I've always tried to put the good of the team above all else. I've always given, and always try to give, everything on the field without holding anything back, without thinking about what comes next.0
