Grupo E: Brasil vs Costa Rica
Como una de las favoritas selecciones de este Mundial, la calidad de Brasil está fuera de toda duda. Sin embargo, ha empatado a 1-1 con Suiza en el primer partido, lo que es muy sorprendente. Así que Brasil no puede permitirse ningún error en la segunda ronda. Frente a Costa Rica, el equipo más débil del Grupo E, Brasil es absolutamente superior en cuanto a habilidades y tácticas. Por otra parte, Costa Rica decepcionó en su primer partido, que fue derrotó 0-1 por Serbia. Los costarriqueños centraron en la defensa ante Serbia y produjeron muy poco en ataque.
