Newcastle Drop Sesko Pursuit as Man Utd Interest Grows and New Striker Target Emerges
Newcastle are reportedly set to miss out on the signings of Benjamin Sesko to Man United and are already working on bringing in an alternative.
Eddie Howe’s nightmare summer transfer window continues as they look set to miss out on another target in Sesko, 22.
According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle now have their eyes on a move for either Aston Villa ace Ollie Watkins or Nicolas Jackson with the future of Alexander Isak up in the air.
The report adds that the club haven’t given up on their pursuit of Brentford’s Yoane Wissa with Fulham forward Rodrigo Muniz also shortlisted.
Isak is pushing for a move to Premier League champions Liverpool and is currently sitting out Newcastle’s pre-season tour of Asia with a thigh injury.
