Footballer and part-time model Catarina Pita is rumoured to be trading her football boots for a bikini as she's reportedly set to join Love Island as a late bombshell.
The Portuguese defender, currently on the books at Atlético London, has carved out an impressive career in women's football, with stints at clubs such as West Ham United, QPR, Millwall Lionesses, and Porto FC.
However, insiders suggest she's now caught the eye of Love Island producers, poised to make a dramatic late entrance this season.
A source told The Sun.: "Cat's been hard at work in pre-season training but ITV2 have earmarked her as a potential late bombshell.
"As always, the cast are carefully selected to stir up maximum drama.
"The idea of having a female footballer on the show during the Women's Euros really appealed to the bosses."

With the villa still reeling from the explosive Movie Night, the timing couldn't be better for a fresh face. Brunette beauty Cat's arrival could certainly turn heads and ramp up the drama for the girls.
In Friday's (July 11) episode, the annual Movie Night twist wreaked havoc as Islanders were shown secret snippets from Casa Amor and the surprise 'Sleepover', reports the Mirror.
Meg and Dejon's relationship, once considered one of the villa's most solid, is now teetering on the brink after revealing footage exposed Dejon's flirtatious antics with Andrada, Malisha, and Caprice.
Meg, visibly taken aback by what she witnessed, exclaimed: "F***ing hell, any more flirting?" Her fury escalated as Dejon attempted to justify his actions, while Andrada, drawn into the dispute, held her own. "I'm going to stand my ground," she declared resolutely after the explosive footage was aired.

Later on, Meg pulled Dejon aside for a private chat, accusing him of making a fool out of her. "I feel violated in front of all of the girls," she confessed, fighting back tears.
Dejon, who appeared noticeably rattled following the confrontation, admitted to feeling confused, saying: "I didn't know if I was truly being honest, with Meg or myself."
