Ex-Arsenal and Liverpool star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's deal with Besiktas has been terminated, setting up the player's return to the Premier League.
As per Yeni Safak, Besiktas have terminated Oxlade-Chamberlain's deal, as he was informed he would not be part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans going forward. The midfielder struggled with injury during his first season in Turkey, and was frozen out by then manager Giovanni van Bronkhorst at the start of the 2024/25 campaign. The 31-year-old eventually worked his way back into the side after the Dutchman's sacking, and in all, made 50 appearance and scored five goals for Besiktas after joining from Liverpool on a free transfer in 2023.
