Mourinho gets his man! Fenerbahce confirm Duran loan signing

In an announcement on the club website, Fenerbahce have revealed that 21-year-old striker Duran has joined on a season-long loan from Cristiano Ronaldo-captained Al-Nassr, whom he only joined in January. In the short message, Fenerbahce said they hope Duran will have "a season full of success" in their yellow-and-navy striped kit.

Is Chukwuemeka leaving Chelsea amid Dortmund claim?

Carney Chukwuemeka may yet make his move to Borussia Dortmund permanent, after a club chief claimed he hopes to agree a deal to sign him from Chelsea.

Reported by talkSPORT, Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has revealed he hopes to keep Chukwuemeka at the club, though the midfielder is set to return to Stamford Bridge following the end of the Club World Cup. A permanent move for Chukwuemeka may cost in the region of £40million (€46.3m/$54.6m), a price the German giants would hope to negotiate down.

Brady's Birmingham splash the cash with Furuhashi signing

Birmingham City have completed the eye-catching signing of Kyogo Furuhashi from Rennes, with the Japan forward returning to football in the British Isles just six months after a £10 million move to Ligue 1. The ex-Celtic star joins the Tom Brady-backed Blues on a three-year deal as their ambitious summer recruitment drive continues to prepare for the Championship.

Sesko given €100 million price tag as Gunners move on

RB Leipzig have put Arsenal off signing Benjamin Sesko after the Gunners baulked at the German side's €100 million (£86m/$118m) asking price.

It had been believed that the Slovenian forward was the Gunners' preferred choice up front and reports suggested the club had put in significant work to secure his signing, but Sky Germany report that Leipzig are demanding too high a fee to complete the deal. Unable to agree a fee with the German club, Arsenal have turned their attentions to Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres - who now looks close to joining the Gunners. With Arsenal, and any other potential suitors, unwilling to match the €100m price tag, Sesko is looking more likely than ever to remain in Germany next season.

Leverkusen boss Ten Hag to sell Man Utd reject Kovar again

Bayer Leverkusen boss Erik ten Hag is looking to move on Matej Kovar for a second time after selling the goalkeeper at Manchester United.

The Czech goalkeeper joined Leverkusen in 2023, making six Bundesliga appearances under Xabi Alonso, and is set to depart the club already. As per the Mirror, Leverkusen have agreed a deal with PSV to sell Kovar who is looking to become a first-choice number one on a permanent basis. While it marks the second time Ten Hag has shifted Kovar, with Brentford's Mark Flekken arriving to become the main option between the sticks, it was inevitable Kovar would have to leave for regular game time.

Juve tell Luiz to find new club this summer amid Man Utd links

Juventus have reportedly informed Douglas Luiz that he is free to leave the club this summer after just one underwhelming season at the Allianz Stadium. The Brazilian midfielder has already attracted interest from Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and even Manchester United amid talk of a potential swap deal with Jadon Sancho.

Luiz joined Juventus from Aston Villa in a €50 million (£43.7m) move last summer but failed to impress. After logging just 516 minutes across 19 Serie A games, the 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder has been told to find a new club. New Bianconeri boss Igor Tudor has no plans to include him in his setup for the upcoming season, as per Calciomercato.

Vardy REJECTED! Genoa boss Vieira pulls plug on ex-Leicester veteran

Jamie Vardy's search for a new club continues, after reports that Genoa manager Patrick Vieira rejected a move for the 38-year-old ex-Leicester man.

Vardy was nearing a move to the Serie A side on a free transfer before Vieira pulled the plug on the signing, report Mail Online. Arsenal icon Vieira has managed Genoa since November 2024, leading the Italian club to 13th in Serie A in his first season. He was reportedly "unconvinced" with Vardy and "overruled" the move.

Newcastle face uphill Scalvini challenge

Newcastle United's hopes of landing Italian star Giorgio Scalvini have taken a big hit, with Atalanta firmly declaring the 21-year-old as "unsellable" this summer. Despite reports of contact from the Premier League side, no negotiations are taking place as the Serie A club shut the door on a potential exit for their star centre-back.

Newcastle have reportedly shown serious interest in signing Scalvini. However, Atalanta have made it clear they are not entertaining any offers for the highly rated defender, regardless of price. Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport states there are 'no negotiations' because Atalanta consider him untouchable.

Man Utd to bid for Botafogo's John amid clause confusion

Manchester United are expected to make a bid for the Botafogo goalkeeper John following his impressive performances at the Club World Cup.

However, as per Sport Witness, there remains confusion over what the fee required stands at. While some reports coming out of Brazil suggest that as little as £5.8 million ($8m) would be enough to take the goalkeeper to Old Trafford, others believe a far more considerable fee would be needed.

Juventus to pull trigger on Sancho

Juventus are plotting a double Premier League swoop as they look to refresh their squad options after a disappointing campaign.

The Italian club are preparing to make an offer to Manchester United for the exiled Jadon Sancho. The Englishman spent last season out on loan at Chelsea, who paid a fine to avoid signing him on a permanent basis and is unlikely to be considered a part of Ruben Amorim's plans for next season. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Old Lady are prepared to allow Douglas Luiz to move in the opposite direction. The Brazilian has struggled to settle in Italy since joining the club from Aston Villa last summer.

Gyokeres on strike! Pre-season snub to force Arsenal transfer?

Reports by The Sun state that Sporting fear Viktor Gyokeres may not show up to the club's Cristiano Ronaldo Academy HQ for pre-season, amidst claims that the Swedish striker is prepared to go on strike. He feels relations with the club are broken after a 'gentleman's agreement' to sanction an exit worth less than £60million (€69.5m/$82m) was not held up by the club, who are demanding at least £68.5m (€79m/$93.5m).

Fabrizio Romano reports that despite the initial rejection from West Ham, Spurs are expected to come up with a fresh bid for the 24-year-old as they are determined to sign him after getting the green signal from new manager Thomas Frank.
