Santos y Pumas dieron el cerrojazo final a la campaña regular del Clausura 2019 con victoria para los guerreros 5-2 en el Estadio TSM Corona. Ambos clubes ya no se jugaban nada, aunque los universitarios culminaron una temporada digna para el olvido que intentarán remediar para el siguiente semestre.
Diego Valdés al minuto 12 sorprendió con el disparo colocado al ángulo para abrir el marcador. Siete minutos después, Julio Furch arribó a segundo poste y a escasos centímetros del gol, no tuvo mayor problema para empujarla a las redes.
Diez minutos después, el propio argentino aprovechó un centro flotado a primer palo para prenderla de primera intención y meter el tercero en favor de Santos.
Pumas intentó reaccionar derivado de un centro de Víctor Malcorra que alcanzó a desviar Felipe Mora para hacer el primer tanto de los visitantes.
