Complete guide to the Reds' pre-season preparations, including friendlies and training camps, ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Fresh off the back of lifting the 2024-25 Premier League title, Liverpool will be aiming to consolidate early success in manager Arne Slot's second season in charge.
As part of their preparations, the Reds have announced their plans for a trip to Asia for this year's pre-season tour. Given Japan Airlines' role as Liverpool's official airline partner, it's no shock that Liverpool are heading to Japan for their first-ever summer game there.
The club last touched down in Asia during the 2023 pre-season, staging matches in Singapore before launching a campaign that nearly ended in a historic quadruple. Supporters will be hoping that this return to the Far East brings similar fortune, and that Slot can push the team all the way this time around.
Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about Liverpool's pre-season plans ahead of the 2025-26 season, plus ticket information, where to watch games live and more.

The Reds will then play J1 League outfit Yokohama F. Marinos at Yokohama's Nissan Stadium on July 30, marking Liverpool's first pre-season stop in Japan.
Following the Anfield double-header against Athletic Club on August 4, Liverpool will make the trip to Wembley for their FA Community Shield meeting against Crystal Palace on August 10.
The club is expected to line up additional friendlies around that tour, though the specifics remain under wraps for now.
