Giulia Gwinn made a candid admission when presenting her autobiography "Write Your Own Story."
The Bayern Munich midfielder is keen to stay true to her title and carve her own legacy as a woman and a professional football player. And in the pages of the book, she admits it can be tough. Gwinn, 25, admits she experiences sexism on a daily basis, with unsolicited pics making their way into her Instagram DMs.
She said: "Sure, I constantly receive photos of naked men. So-called penis pics. This kind of stuff constantly pops up in my Instagram inbox. The photos are always from anonymous accounts. I delete the photos and messages, and I report the accounts. It's just plain bad harassment."
Gwinn, who has been with Bayern since 2019, also revealed she has received countless requests from Playboy, the magazine known for publishing photographs of scantily clad women.
"They're beautiful and aesthetic photos, no doubt," she said. "But they're not for me. Posting a bikini photo on my account is fine, but anything else exceeds my personal limits."

After one of their attempts, before the 2023 Women's World Cup, Playboy Germany's boss Florian Boitin said: "Giulia Gwinn is not only an outstanding athlete, but also a beautiful young woman. So a personality like her is naturally interesting for Playboy."
Gwinn has more than 638,000 followers on the platform, and is wearing a bikini in her profile picture.
However, her photo feed is a mixture of on the pitch success and snaps enjoying life away from it - with a couple of recent snaps promoting her new book.

Gwinn is set to captain the German national team at this summers Euros.
