The summer transfer window is now officially open for Premier League clubs courtesy of a FIFA ruling allowing an additional window to open before the Club World Cup. Clubs have until June 10 to get deals done before the market shuts again until June 16, reopening until September 1.
Some English top-flight sides have already confirmed signings, such as Jeremie Frimpong to Liverpool, Kevin Danso to Tottenham and Carlos Alcaraz to Everton, and their competitors will be hard at work to secure some incomings over the next 10 days.
Manchester United and Arsenal are among them as they look to beef up their attack while Liverpool are attempting to wrap up a move for Florian Wirtz that could surpass the £115million Premier League record fee Chelsea paid for Moises Caicedo two summers ago.

One forward in, one forward out at Man Utd?
Bryan Mbeumo could soon be arriving at Manchester United, and will he be replacing Rasmus Hojlund?
That's because Fabrizio Romano reports that Inter Milan have started talks with the 22-year-old striker's representatives over a summer transfer.
Hojlund is said to be one of the top targets on Inter's striker shortlist and is likely free to leave Old Trafford.
Bryan Mbeumo chooses Man Utd

Bryan Mbeumo has decided to join Manchester United this summer, snubbing Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.
According to David Ornstein, United will now look to agree a transfer fee with Brentford and sign the 25-year-old forward.
Mbeumo scored 20 goals and registered eight assists in the Premier League last season and now looks set to follow Matheus Cunha to Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim is transforming his attack!

Chelsea have announced the signing of Sporting midfielder Dario Essugo!
The 20-year-old has signed a contract until 2033 after completing an £18million switch to Stamford Bridge.
Essugo is expected to arrive as backup for Moises Caicedo in midfield and will be available for the Club World Cup.

Man Utd push for Kobbie Mainoo contract
Kobbie Mainoo will reportedly receive assurances about playing in his favoured central midfield position if he commits his future to Manchester United.
Mainoo is still in negotiations with his boyhood club over a new contract as he enters the final two years of his current deal.
According to GIVEMESPORT, United want to work with the 20-year-old to develop him into an ideal midfielder in Ruben Amorim's system rather than sell him.
And it's claimed that Mainoo's role under Amorim is a key part of discussions.
Myles Lewis-Skelly set for new contract
Arsenal chiefs expect Myles Lewis-Skelly to sign a new contract ahead of next season, according to the Daily Mail.
The 18-year-old left-back has been one of Mikel Arteta's best players since making his debut in September 2024 and scored on his England debut in March.
He has just one year left on his first professional contract, which he signed in October 2023.
However, it's claimed that Arsenal aren't worried about losing Lewis-Skelly, and he is expected to commit his future to the Emirates Stadium in the coming months.
The teenage talent will reportedly earn a significant salary increase in his new deal.
Andrey Santos 'the missing link'
Former Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit believes Andrey Santos could be perfect for Enzo Maresca's side after shining on loan at Strasbourg this season.
"Andrey Santos is having a great season at Strasbourg, so is Djorde Petrovic; they are having a great season as a team, and it’s been a big surprise," Petit told PokerStrategy.
"Like Brest in the season before, they are fighting for a Champions League spot, and they have played beautiful football. Santos is a young player who has improved a lot since last season, he can do whatever he wants on the pitch.
"He can play as a central midfielder, a holding midfielder or elsewhere, he can do everything. He can score and assist, and is a very talented player with a bright future ahead of him.
"I think he could be the answer for Chelsea in midfield with Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, I think he is the missing link.
"Romeo Lavia is a good player, but he is still learning. I just think that Santos will fit in perfectly at Chelsea."
Man Utd offered Goncalo Ramos
Manchester United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Goncalo Ramos.
According to TBR Football, PSG want to cash in on the 23-year-old this summer and are looking for £50million.
United are said to be one of the clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia that are in talks with Ramos' representatives.

Rayan Ait-Nouri wants Man City
Wolves left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri has already said yes to a summer transfer to Manchester City, according to Fabrizio Romano.
City have identified the 23-year-old as their top defensive target and are now expected to seal a deal before the FIFA Club World Cup.
Arsenal 'take concrete steps' for Sane
Arsenal are looking to beat north London rivals Tottenham to the signing of Leroy Sane.
According to Bild, the Gunners have taken 'concrete steps' to progress the deal forward and prevail at the expense of Spurs.
Sane seems decreasingly likely to sign a new deal with Bayern Munich, and he could therefore leave the Allianz Arena as a free agent after June 30.
Man Utd considering Mitrovic move
Manchester United are weighing up a move for Alekasandar Mitrovic, according to talkSPORT.
Al-Hilal paid around £50million to sign Mitrovic from Fulham in 2023, and despite the fact he will turn 31 in September, the Saudi Pro League side reportedly want to recoup £40m if they allow him to move on.
Mitrovic finished the season on 19 goals, but because he only made 23 appearances, he ended up with a better goals-per-game ratio than Karim Benzema, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ivan Toney.
The Serbian international has scored 68 goals in 79 games across all competitions since signing for Al-Hilal, and he has a strong record in English football, where he spent three seasons at Newcastle United and scored more than a century of goals for Fulham.
United are not alone in their admiration of Mitrovic as Everton and West Ham are also said to be keeping track of the situation.
West Ham, Leeds and Fulham tracking German goal machine
West Ham, Fulham and Leeds United have all expressed interest in Hamburg striker Davie Selke, Express Sport understands.
The 30-year-old scored 22 goals in 31 games last season, firing HSV back to the Bundesliga after a seven-year absence from Germany's top flight.
Selke's Hamburg contract expires on June 30 and he is yet to agree on an extension with club bosses.
One of Selke's suitors is his former club, RB Leipzig, and they are in pole position to sign him if he leaves Hamburg this summer.
Leeds chiefs have been in direct contact to explore Selke's personal demands. West Ham and Fulham are also considering Selke among a list of attacking transfer targets. And Watford hold a concrete interest in the forward, but a Championship move is highly unlikely while top-flight options are available.

Ait-Nouri to Man City 'expected to happen'
Manchester City, Wolves and Rayan Ait-Nouri all expect a transfer deal to be thrashed out this summer, according to The Athletic.
The Algerian is City's top target at left-back, and although agreements are yet to be reached on the club side or the player side, there is confidence that the move will progress.
City are long-term admirers of Ait-Nouri, 23, who finished the season with four goals and seven assists in the Premier League.
Blues 'open to offers' for Noni Madueke
Chelsea are prepared to listen to offers for Noni Madueke this summer, according to The Guardian.
Stamford Bridge bosses reportedly feel as though the winger's development has stalled, despite his respectable haul of 11 goals in all competitions last season.
With a move for Jamie Gittens gathering pace, Madueke could soon be deemed surplus to requirements.
Fellow attackers Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku have both been put up for sale by the Blues.
Chelsea 'to announce Liam Delap today'
Chelsea will announce the signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich Town today, according to Sky Sports.
The 22-year-old completed the first part of his medical on Sunday and is set to conduct the rest over the coming hours before being unveiled as a new Blues player.
All the agreements are in place, including a £30million fee to Ipswich, for the move to proceed as planned.

Chelsea go all in on Jamie Gittens
Chelsea have placed their full focus on signing Jamie Gittens before the Club World Cup, according to The Telegraph.
The Blues have flirted with signing the 20-year-old since January and they have now ramped up their efforts to get it done.
Gittens is believed to have a £50million release clause in his Dortmund contract.
He finished the season joint-second in BVB's Bundesliga scoring charts with eight goals.
Rasmus Hojlund 'advancing' towards Inter
Rasmus Hojlund's profile as an Inter Milan transfer target is 'advancing', according to Calciomercato.
The club's growing interest is partly due to the healthy relationship his agents have struck up with the Nerazzurri.
Hojlund is said to be 'unhappy' in Manchester and he 'intends' to secure himself a change of scenery this summer. But United may have to take a hefty financial hit to get the deal done, as Inter are holding out for a bargain price.
The Serie A giants are eager to make a splash in the transfer market after being thrashed in the Champions League final by Paris Saint-Germain.
Florian Wirtz talks scheduled
Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen have scheduled a new round of talks over the signing of Florian Wirtz, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Reds are still 'confident' that they can thrash out a deal with Leverkusen despite seeing two bids knocked back.
It has been suggested that either Harvey Elliott or Jarell Quansah could be included as part of the deal.
Liverpool's most recent offer is believed to have been made up of a £109.6million total package, but Leverkusen want £126m.

Matheus Cunha delay
Manchester United fans face a two-week wait before they can see Matheus Cunha in the famous red shirt.
The Red Devils announced on Sunday that they had agreed a £62.5million deal with Wolves for the forward.
But the Brazilian has jetted straight out of the country to join up with his Brazil team-mates, and will not complete the glitzier parts of his unveiling until he returns.
Bruno Fernandes agreement 'close'
Al-Hilal believe they are close to reaching an agreement on personal terms with Bruno Fernandes, according to Ben Jacobs.
Manchester United have insisted that they will not sell their skipper, but the report adds that Al-Hilal feel a deal is there to be done if Fernandes asks to leave.
The Portuguese is understood to be deliberating with his family over whether a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia would be right for all of them.
Fernandes and Al-Hilal are coming off the back of 'a week of positive meetings'.
Talks between Chelsea and Sancho continue
Chelsea and Jadon Sancho are locked in talks over a potential contract for the winger, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues have the option to sign Sancho, who spent the season on loan at Stamford Bridge, permanently for £25million this summer.
But they can also choose to send him back to Manchester United if they pay them a £5m penalty fee.
Chelsea and Sancho are yet to reach an agreement over his salary, with the wide man picking up a bumper wage at Old Trafford.
A final decision on his future is expected at some point in the coming week.

Pep Guardiola's talk with Rayan Cherki
Pep Guardiola spoke with Rayan Cherki personally in an effort to sway him towards Manchester City, according to Fabrizio Romano.
City are now in pole position to sign the 21-year-old from Lyon, and discussions are underway over a transfer fee.
Romano adds that, if the two sides are to agree on a figure, it will be considerably higher than the £25.3million being reported.
But City's interest remains strong as they look to bring in new creative players following the departure of Kevin De Bruyne.
Nottingham Forest close in on triple deal
Nottingham Forest are closing in on a deal for the Botafogo trio of Igor Jesus, Cuiabano and Jair Cunha, according to The Athletic.
Striker Jesus, 24, has scored 14 goals in 53 games for the Brazilian side.
Left-back Cuiabano, 22, is in the midst of his second season at the club.
And centre-half Cunha, 20, stands a towering 6ft 6in tall.
Forest have enjoyed success recruiting from Brazil in the past, with Murillo snapped up from Corinthians in 2023.
Saudi enquiries sent for Jota Silva
Jota Silva is a target for Saudi Pro League clubs but he wants to remain at Nottingham Forest, Express Sport understands.
The 25-year-old has not been presented with an official offer but a handful of sides in the Middle East have enquired about the conditions of a summer move.
Silva made 31 Premier League appearances last season, scoring three goals, as Forest secured European football for the first time in 30 years.
But 26 of those games were off the bench as he struggled to oust Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga from the starting XI.
Forest signed Silva for just under £6million last summer, and he still has three years to run on his contract.

Liam Delap completes part of Chelsea medical
Liam Delap has completed the first part of his Chelsea medical, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Further formalities will be carried out early next week after the Blues won the race to agree a £30million deal for the 22-year-old striker.
All important agreements are in place for Delap to play for Chelsea, despite rival interest from the likes of Newcastle, Manchester United and Everton.
Leverkusen to request Liverpool duo in Wirtz swap deal
Bayer Leverkusen are open to including either Harvey Elliott or Jarell Quansah in a player-plus-cash deal for Liverpool-bound Florian Wirtz.
Sky Germany claim that 'talks are ongoing' over Wirtz's move to Anfield, and no final decision has been made about whether other players will be thrown into the package.
Elliott and Quansah were peripheral figures under Arne Slot last season, and both have been linked with summer exits.
Everton target Rangers star Mohamed Diomande
Everton have identified Rangers star Mohamed Diomande as one of several midfield targets this summer.
Central midfield will be a key area for the Toffees to address. Abdoulaye Doucoure is leaving the club upon the expiration of his contract, and Orel Mangala has been sent back to Lyon following his season-long loan spell on Merseyside.
Express Sport understands that Diomande is a player Everton chiefs have identified as a candidate to bolster David Moyes' ranks in the middle of the park. The Ivory Coast international, 23, can play in a variety of positions including as a holding midfielder, a box-to-box player, a No. 10 and a left-back.
He ended the campaign with nine goal contributions (four goals, five assists) in 31 Scottish Premiership games, plus another three in 10 Europa League appearances.

Caoimhin Kelleher to Brentford a 'done deal'
Brentford have agreed a deal to sign Caoimhin Kelleher from Liverpool, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The total package including add-ons is believed to be worth £18million.
The Bees' current stopper, Mark Flekken, is on his way to Bayer Leverkusen.
Kelleher stepping into his shoes will give the Irishman his first shot at being a first-choice Premier League keeper, having spent six years as a back-up at Anfield.
Bruno Fernandes spotted with Al-Hilal star
Bruno Fernandes has reportedly been spotted with Al-Hilal defender Joao Cancelo as discussions continue over his future.
Fernandes and Cancelo, a former Manchester City defender, have been team-mates for the Portugal national team for several years.
Al-Hilal want to sign the Manchester United captain before the end of next week, securing his signature in time for the Club World Cup.

Thomas Partey opens Barcelona talks
Barcelona are reportedly in talks with Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey regarding a free transfer.
The Ghanaian is out of contract this summer and is free to talk with foreign clubs regarding a move when his deal expires at the end of the month.
The Sun claim that negotiations have begun and while Barcelona are cash-strapped themselves, are excited about the prospect of signing a talented player without a transfer fee.
Partey's priority is to remain in north London, but he wants a wage that reflects his position as one of the club's most important players.
Marc Guehi expected to leave Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi is reportedly set to leave the club this summer, despite an FA Cup win and securing a place in the Europa League.
The Guardian claim that the England defender is widely expected to depart this summer, as he has just one year left on his Selhurst Park contract.
Newcastle had a £70million bid rejected last summer and the next few months appear to be Palace's final chance to cash in, or run the risk of letting their skipper leave for free.
Manchester United complete Matheus Cunha transfer
Manchester United have announced a deal to sign Wolves forward Matheus Cunha, getting their first transfer done on the opening day of the summer window.
Every aspect of the deal has now been finalised and Cunha will head to Old Trafford after his £62.5million release clause was triggered.
“Manchester United has reached an agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers for the signing of Matheus Cunha,” the club said in a statement. “The Brazilian forward’s signing is subject to visa and registration.
“The 26-year-old has 13 senior caps for Brazil, and, in his club career, has made 270 appearances and scored 72 goals in the English, Spanish, German and Swiss top flights.
“During two-and-a-half seasons at Wolves, Cunha has scored 33 goals in 92 appearances. Everyone at Manchester United looks forward to welcoming Matheus to Old Trafford.”

Liverpool to make Milos Kerkez bid
Liverpool are expected to make a bid for Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez in the coming days.
That's according to transfer expert Ben Jacobs, who states that the player has already reached an agreement on personal terms and is ready to move to Anfield.
Bournemouth value the defender at £40million, with Liverpool splashing the cash this summer as Florian Wirtz is expected to join Jeremie Frimpong on Merseyside.
Brentford to frustrate Bryan Mbeumo suitors
Brentford will not let Bryan Mbeumo leave the club without a fight.
That's according to The Guardian, who claim that the Bees are demanding a fee in the region of £60million for their star man.
The Cameroon forward has just a year left on his contract, but there is an option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle are among the interested parties. Yoanne Wissa is also expected to attract suitors this summer.
Robert Lewandowski confirms future
Robert Lewandowski has confirmed that he will be staying at Barcelona next season, despite speculation surrounding his future.
The La Liga champions are hoping to slash their wage bill and as one of the club's highest earners, rumours have been rife over whether the Polish forward may leave.
However, Lewandowski has responded to those claims, saying: “I will stay at Barca, it’s not even a topic. For sure. I’m sure our team will be stronger and I want to win even more."

Man Utd done deal
Matheus Cunha has been pictured in Manchester with a move to Manchester United all but confirmed after he underwent a medical yesterday.
The 26-year-old is poised to join the Red Devils from Wolves for £62.5million and was spotted outside The Lowry Hotel this morning.
After checking out of the hotel, the Brazilian is due to fly to South America to meet up with his international team-mates.

Arsenal to miss out on goalkeeper
One player Barcelona DO want is Joan Garcia, the Espanyol goalkeeper long linked with Arsenal.
Barca are optimistic about signing Garcia, 24, who won Olympic gold for Spain at Paris 2024.
Arsenal had looked at Garcia as a competitor for his countryman David Raya between the sticks but look set to miss out.
Barcelona rule out Viktor Gyokeres swoop
Barcelona sporting director Deco has ruled out a potential pursuit of Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres.
That is good news for Manchester United and Arsenal who are firmly in the hunt to sign the Swede, while Chelsea also like the 26-year-old.
But Deco said: "Gyokeres is a great striker who did excellent things at Sporting but we’re currently not looking for that position. We have Lewandowski at number nine."
Man Utd watch Yankuba Minteh
Manchester United are one of several Premier League clubs keeping a keen eye on Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh, new reports claim.
The Red Devils are revolutionising their attack this summer with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo both wanted, while they missed out on Liam Delap.
Stretty News say Minteh, who joined Brighton from Newcastle 12 months ago, has been closely looked at.
The Gambian 20-year-old had six goals and four assists in 32 games in his first Premier League season and Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal have all also kept an eye.

Brentford keeper on the move
Mark Flekken is due to leave Brentford for Bayer Leverkusen in an £8.4million deal.
The Dutchman, 31, will link up with Erik ten Hag's team and his switch could pave the way for Liverpool No.2 Caoimhin Kelleher to join Brentford.
Kelleher, 26, is on the hunt for regular first-team football and could cost around £20m.

Everton set eyes on John Stones reunion
Everton want to bring John Stones back to Merseyside nine years after he left to join Manchester City.
The injury prone England international, who just turned 31, has barely played in the last two seasons due to fitness problems.
But according to the Mirror the Toffees want to make him a regular starter at their new Bramley-Moore Dock home.
Stones is on a £250,000-a-week contract at City but regular football would help his chances of playing for England in the 2026 World Cup.
If he was willing to take a pay cut, he'd be a key player for Everton with Jarrad Branthwaite potentially departing this summer. City are among his admirers.
Alejandro Garnacho's Man Utd career all but over
Alejandro Garnacho appears headed for the Manchester United exit door - and poured fuel on the fire with his latest social media post.
The Argentine, 20, cut a moody figure on their post-season tour of Asia having been told by Ruben Amorim to find a new club.
And after the tour came to an end, Garnacho posted while sat on an airplane: "Finally," alongside a loudly crying face emoji, a folded hands emoji and a desert island emoji.
It is likely that when he returns from his holiday it will be to jet to another club or country to undergo a medical to leave United.
Chelsea are among the teams interested in the winger.

Liam Delap Chelsea medical today
Liam Delap is undergoing his medical today to complete a move to Chelsea per GiveMeSport's Ben Jacobs.
The Ipswich striker, 22, will complete a £30million move to Stamford Bridge after scoring 12 goals for the Tractor Boys this season.
Chelsea activated his relegation release clause and convinced the Englishman that they were the best place for his development, over Manchester United, Newcastle, Everton and others.

Man City eye Gianluigi Donnarumma
Gianluigi Donnarumma won the Champions League for the first time last night with PSG - but he could leave the Parisian club this summer.
Per Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester City are exploring a move for the Italian who is still only 26 despite racking up 405 appearances for AC Milan and PSG.
Donnarumma is out of contract in Paris in 2026 and while talks have been held, the player is ready to move on if the club do not meet his demands to extend.
Florian Wirtz bid rejected
Liverpool's second bid for Florian Wirtz was rejected by Bayer Leverkusen this week according to The Times.
An improved package worth up to £109million was tabled for the German, who wants to join Liverpool after rejecting Bayern Munich.
But talks are ongoing between Leverkusen and the Premier League champions to find some middle ground to allow the 22-year-old to get his move.
Leverkusen are believed to want to restructure the payments, likely to lessen the amount of add-ons in the agreement.
Wirtz is currently on international duty with Germany who play Portugal on Wednesday in a Nations League semi-final.

Chelsea to talk to Ekitike's agent
Chelsea will hold talks with Hugo Ekitike's agent Karl Mwalako Buchmann over the next week.
The Blues and Liverpool are both showing interest and the Mirror say Chelsea will speak with the striker's representatives in the days to come.
But Eintracht Frankfurt's demands of a package worth up to £84million could prove prohibitive to both clubs despite the Frenchman's potential.
Arsenal's Gyokeres agreement
Arsenal already have an agreement over personal terms with Viktor Gyokeres but are also pushing to sign Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.
Sporting striker Gyokeres is one of the most in-demand players across Europe following an obscene 54-goal, 13-assist season for the Portuguese champions.
But per Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Arsenal are negotiating with Leipzig over Sesko as they seek to make progress in talks with multiple players.
That is so they are not left on the backfoot if talks with Sesko or Gyokeres backfire.
The Swede has already verbally confirmed that he would join the Gunners but would cost £67million.

Ekitike to Liverpool hint
Liverpool have shown serious interest in Eintracht Frankfurt hitman Hugo Ekitike, who is also a target for Chelsea despite the Blues being set to bring in Liam Delap from Ipswich.
And has Ekitike just dropped a hint he has reciprocal interest in an Anfield switch? Very possibly...

Man Utd eye £70m attacker
Manchester United have set their sights on Pedro Goncalves, the Sporting attacking midfielder, as a potential replacement for Bruno Fernandes.
At least that's what the Mirror say with Bruno Fernandes a £100million target for Saudi side Al-Hilal before the Club World Cup.
Goncalves, a former team-mate of Fernandes', would cost £70m to take out of Lisbon.
But he is a younger option at 26, with captain Fernandes 31 this September, and produced six goals and six assists in 20 games despite a season heavily interrupted by injury.
