Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has risked upsetting his club bosses further after appearing to aim a pointed dig at the Red Devils' controversial post-season tour of Asia. United played against ASEAN All-Stars and the Hong Kong national team just days after a miserable campaign came to an end.
Garnacho featured in both friendly matches, despite reportedly being told by Ruben Amorim that he should find a new club over the summer. The 20-year-old criticised his head coach's selection in the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham and may face further backlash for his recent social media post.
United touched down in Manchester on Saturday to return from Asia and now players can begin their summer holidays. Garnacho seemingly cannot wait to take a break from football and the club, as he shared his delight at returning from the ill-fated post-season tour.
On his Instagram story, Garnacho posted a photo of the United plane wing landing on the tarmac, captioning his picture: "Finally." It was accompanied by three emojis: a crying face, prayer hands and a beach.
He seems overjoyed that United's disastrous tour has come to an end, even though it could be the last time he puts on a club shirt. Discussions regarding a summer exit are expected to step up in the coming days and weeks.

Tensions between Garnacho and Amorim reached a boiling point after the player featured for just 20 minutes in the Europa League final, before going on to label his side's campaign: "A s*** season."
His brother did little to smooth any tensions by taking to Instagram immediately after the final and claim that Garnacho had been "thrown under the bus" by the Portuguese boss.
Garnacho was then left out of the squad for United's final Premier League game of the season, against Aston Villa, but did head to Asia for a post-season tour and featured in both matches.
