TOTTENHAM'S Europa League winners were quick off the mark afterwards with a huge sign of support for Ange Postecoglou.
Bedecked in medals after beating Manchester United 1-0, Spurs stars unfurled a banner paying tribute to their under-fire manager.
Postecoglou was widely mocked when he made the bold claim earlier in Spurs' largely dismal campaign that he "always" wins silverware in his second season.
And, as Tottenham slipped all the way down the Premier League to 17th place in an injury-hit term, that claim looked more and more unrealistic.
However, Brennan Johnson bundled the only goal against United in Bilbao.
And Tottenham players pounced on the opportunity to back Postecoglou.
Sergio Reguilon and James Maddison posed with a fan's banner showing a picture of the Aussie and his fateful words: "I don't usually win things, I ALWAYS win things in my second year."
The snap of Postecoglou above his quote was suitably full of swagger - with a pair dark sunglasses added to make the boss look even cooler.
The banner-raising was Maddison's second noteworthy moment of the night - after the sidelined knee-injury victim went "full John Terry" by changing from a suit to his kit for the trophy-lifting celebrations.
Bizarrely, though, some Tottenham aces had to go without gongs - because Uefa ran out of medals.

Postecoglou acknowledged Europa League joy won't save him from criticism over a woeful Prem season.
But he's the first Spurs boss to pick up silverware in 17 years.
And fans enjoyed the clever tribute from his players.
One posted: "Ange’s crystal ball was clearer than anyone else’s - call it prophecy or just pure genius."
Another joked: "Wow they got that picture printed quickly."
Postecoglou insisted Spurs can "build" on the experience - as he hailed long-serving skipper Son Heung-min.
He said of the second-half sub: "We've had some unbelievable footballers, Harry [Kane] is an example, that has not had a moment like this here.
"I wanted a day like this for Sonny and for one reason or not it has not happened before.
"Outside the dressing room [at Tottenham], there are pictures of winning teams and I said to Sonny 'we have to get you up there'.
"I think there's an opportunity here, that's my belief, and we can build on this.
"These players in there want it again.
"Until you feel it and win something you can't describe it to people so now they have got that, they will want to get this feeling again."
