Thomas Muller has reportedly turned down an approach from MLS side FC Cincinnati to sign him as a free agent this summer. The 35-year-old announced that he is leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season, with a 25-year stay at the club coming to a close.
The Eastern Conference side own his MLS rights - a mechanism that enables Cincy the right to negotiate with him before any other team. BILD first reported the talks between the two parties, while GIVEMESPORT announced that Muller turned down the offer on Wednesday.
