In-demand Athletic Club star Nico Williams has claimed "every kid wants to play at Old Trafford' as his side prepare to face Manchester United.

Williams told reporters: “Every kid wants to play at Old Trafford. “We’ll try to put our best foot forward in the first leg at San Mames to go there with determination and show what Athletic Bilbao is all about. This tie will have no favourite. Manchester United is at the bottom of the league, but they made it clear against Olympique Lyonnais what they’re capable with the way they handled the match."

Per the Daily Star, Manchester United are looking to sign Aston Villa and England striker Ollie Watkins as they are reportedly prepared to send Marcus Rashford out on a swap deal. Rashford, who is currently on loan at Villa, is expected to leave the Red Devils, and the club have set a price of £40m for the English striker.

The CBF have denied this, although Ancelotti is said to be in advanced talks over a move, and Alonso is seemingly poised to take his place.

Per the Daily Mail, Bayern Munich are interested in signing Andrey Santos from Chelsea this summer. The 20-year-old joined the club in 2023 from Vasco da Gama in a £17.5 million ($23m) deal, but he has yet to play a senior game for the Blues. Instead, he was loaned back to Vasco, then to Nottingham Forest for the 2023/24 season, and now to Strasbourg.
