Milan 'convinced' to sign Man City loanee Walker permanently

All signs seemingly point towards Kyle Walker leaving Manchester City and joining AC Milan permanently in a bargain deal this summer.

According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have decided that they will purchase Walker permanently. Walker has spent the second half of the season on loan in Italy, with the Serie A heavyweights 'convinced' about making the move permanent.

Saudi Arabia approach Real Madrid boss Ancelotti

Saudi Arabia are reportedly trying to approach for Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, who may be set to leave Los Blancos later this month.

The Saudi Arabian national team has now approached Ancelotti to take over as head coach after he departs Real Madrid, as per FootballTransfers. Journalist Duncan Castles revealed that Ancelotti is open to his next job being in Saudi Arabia.

Barcelona have reportedly given up on their plans to sign Athletic Club's Nico Williams, which could open the door for Arsenal to sign the winger.

Marca has now reported that Barcelona have decided to drop their interest in Williams, as they are expecting a slow summer due to their struggles with finances. If they are to make signings in the transfer window for next season, they would look to sign a backup for Jules Kounde.

Madrid must pay buyout fee to sign Alonso

Real Madrid will have to pay a double-digit buyout fee in order to sign Bayer Leverkusen's Xabi Alonso as manager this summer.

Alonso is the hot favourite to replace Carlo Ancelotti as the manager of Real Madrid, especially following the Spanish giants' humiliating 5-1 quarter-final defeat to Arsenal in the Champions League. However, BILD reports (h/t Football Espana) that Los Blancos will have to pay a double-digit figure to Bayer Leverkusen in order to sign Alonso before his current deal, valid until June 2026, expires.

Fichajes reports that Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle are all interested in signing the England international this summer and are currently jostling for position as the number one destination. A return to Villa may appeal to Grealish, while Newcastle are currently the likeliest of the three to be able to offer Champions League football next season.
