El técnico del América, Miguel Herrera, se encuentra en problemas después de la derrota sufrida por su equipo ante el Toluca correspondiente a la decimoquinta fecha del Torneo Clausura del fútbol mexicano.
El comité disciplinario de dicha entidad anunció el lunes que comenzará a investigar al técnico después de sus comentarios contra el arbitraje de Luis Enrique Santander y el presidente de la comisión de arbitraje, Antonio Brizio.
Durante la conferencia de prensa pospartido, Herrera dijo: “Que se ponga a trabajar el señor Brizio, que solo sale hablar de nosotros, que se ponga a trabajar, que no lo hace; pero sí está ocupado en hablar de nosotros, que hable de su gente no de nosotros, si nos ha ayudado o no el VAR que se ponga a trabajar, porque el VAR es un desastre no hoy, sino todas las jornadas”.
Esas palabras fueron las que llevaron a que el Comité Disciplinario tuviera que tomar cartas en el asunto. El lunes al mediodía emitieron un comunicado hablando sobre el tema.
“La Comisión Disciplinaria de la Federación Mexicana de Fútbol informa que, Con fundamento en lo dispuesto por el artículo 74,84 y 85 del Reglamento de Sanciones, abrió un procedimiento de investigación de oficio por las declaraciones emitidas en zona de prensa por el Director Técnico del Club América, Sr. Miguel Ernesto Herrera Aguirre, al término del partido disputado el pasado 21 de Abril de 2019, correspondiente a la Jornada 15 del Torneo Clausura 2019 de LIGA MX entre los Clubes Toluca vs. América La Comisión Disciplinaria analizará las pruebas y documentos aportados, emitiendo la resolución correspondiente," informó la Federación Mexicana de Fútbol a través del comunicado emitido.
América todavía sigue en limbo dentro de la lucha por puestos en la Liguilla. Ahora mismo se encuentra en el séptimo lugar en la tabla con 23 puntos, por encima de Puebla y Tijuana con 23 y 22 respectivamente faltando dos fechas por disputar.
El América se enfrenta al Santos Laguna el sábado en la penúlitma fecha de la la Liga MX y, combinado con resultados favorables en otros partidos, puede clasificar a liguilla si gana.
