A pocos días de arrancar el Brasileirao, los torneos regionales se van definiendo y este domingo en la Arena Corinthians, el ‘Timao’ derrotó 2-1 al Sao Paulo para ganar una vez más el campeonato paulista.
El partido fue vibrante, con llegadas y ante un lleno imponente. Everton estuvo cerca de marcar el primero, pero el disparo pegó en la parte de afuera de la red. Al minuto 31, un doble contacto en jugada derivada del tiro de esquina propició que Danilo Avelar colocara el balón al fondo de las redes para inaugurar la pizarra.
Sobre la recta final, Pedro Henrique realizó el recorte y mandó el zapatazo al segundo poste que fue atajado por Thiago Volpi. Minutos después ya en el tiempo de compensación, Antony Dos Santos le pegó desde fuera del área para vencer el arco de Cássio y emparejar los cartelones.
En el segundo tiempo, los locales tuvieron la tenencia de la pelota, pero fue en el penúltimo minuto del tiempo regular que lograron sentenciar el partido con el remate de primera intención con la parte interna del pie derecho en donde Vágner Love la puso en el ángulo inferior para decretar el 2-1.
El próximo fin de semana inicia el Brasileirao. Sao Paulo recibirá a Botafogo y Corinthians visitará a Bahía.
