Gittens set to leave BVB amid interest from EPL clubs & Bayern

Per Sky Sports, English winger Jamie Gittens is all set to leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the 2024-25 campaign amid strong interest from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and clubs in the Premier League.

Bayern make crunch decision on Sane's future

Leroy Sane, who is in the final few months of his contract at Allianz Arena, has attracted interest from Arsenal, who are looking to sign new players in attack to bolster their squad this summer. Sky Sports' Florian Plettenberg, however, reports that Bayern Munich are all set to offer a new deal to the Germany international.

Man Utd ready to battle Arsenal for Cunha

Arsenal are said to be eager to lure the Brazilian to north London as they look to strengthen their attack in an attempt to challenge for the Premier League title next season. However, Manchester United have now entered the picture and there has been contact with his agent, who talkSPORT reports will soon fly to England for negotiations.

Wrexham tipped to battle Birmingham for ex-Man Utd star's son
Wrexham are all set to compete with Birmingham City to sign ex-Man Utd midfielder Robbie Savage's son Charlie from Reading in the summer.

Speaking to EFL Analysis, TBR Football’s chief football correspondent, Graeme Bailey, said: "Savage senior’s former club Birmingham City and Wrexham – his hometown club – are both watching Savage junior and are prepared to move for him this summer. Birmingham know they are playing in the Championship next season and they are ready to compete and push for immediate promotion to the Premier League, which was done recently by Ipswich Town. With that they are putting plans in place and Reading midfielder Savage is a player they like. He has been outstanding for Reading since joining from Manchester United in 2023."

Aston Villa tie young star Bogarde down to new contract

Aston Villa youngster Lamare Bogarde has signed a new long-term contract with the club after impressing Unai Emery behind the scenes.

In a club announcement, Villa said: "Aston Villa is delighted to announce that Lamare Bogarde has signed a new contract with the club. The Dutch Under-21 international has been a regular in matchday squads for Villa this term, making 16 appearances in all competitions, including four in the Champions League. A versatile player, capable of playing in defence and in midfield, Bogarde joined the club in the summer of 2020 from Feyenoord and has previously spent time on loan with Bristol Rovers. Congratulations, Lamare!"

Arrizabalaga drops future hint

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has refused to commit his future to Bournemouth despite impressing on loan with the Cherries.

Speaking in a recent interview, the Spaniard admitted talks about his future are scheduled with Chelsea in the coming weeks. He said: "Obviously what I can say is that I'm really happy and I'm enjoying my playing time here. I think I'm showing that and I'm feeling well on the pitch. It's not the time to think about the future, we're going to take the decision, we're in touch with everybody and now I'm under contract with Chelsea. We have some conversations to have; they will happen in the next few weeks and then we'll decide."

Newcastle show interest in Palace's Eze

According to Sky, Newcastle are planning for life without Sandro Tonali, who is reportedly keen to leave St James' Park this summer. Should that be the case, the Magpies boss is keen to activate Eberechi Eze's reported £60million (€70m/$76m) and help him realise his full potential at a club playing regular European football. It is likely that Eze will only come if one of Newcastle's stars depart, due to financial fair play restrictions.

Sporting CP hints Gyokeres is set for blockbuster transfer

Sporting CP manager Rui Borges has hinted that Viktor Gyokeres could leave the club in the future amid interest from English giants.

Speaking to reporters, the Portuguese coach said, "Viktor is a player. I think there are no words. It is unlikely that another player of his quality will emerge in our league over the next few years. He is clearly above average. Sporting recognised his talent, and here we are. Fortunately, we have him at Sporting. We must make the most of the time we have with him because he is truly exceptional. I have said this before, and I will continue to say it: he brings a lot to the team, and his teammates are aware of what he contributes, which is why they look for him during games. The collective effort also plays a role, as no one can succeed alone. Viktor is a game-changer, and he will continue to be, whether with us or elsewhere. His quality is undeniable; it is phenomenal."

Real Betis chief reveals Antony transfer plan

Real Betis are open to trying various methods to ensure Antony stays at the Spanish club beyond the end of his loan deal with Manchester United.

Betis sporting director Manu Fajardo told Movistar: "It is a source of satisfaction on a personal level [bringing Antony to Betis], but it is the result of teamwork. Although I am responsible for the sporting management, there are many people involved in this signing. It is still early days, but we will try, in different ways, to do everything to continue enjoying Antony."

Van Dijk and Liverpool's contract talks reopened

Virgil van Dijk has revealed that his contract standoff with Liverpool is finally over and there has been 'progress' in discussions over an extension.

Speaking to the media, Van Dijk said: “There is progress, yeah. I don’t know [if I'll stay], we’ll see. Listen (laughs), these are internal discussions and we’ll see."
