El colombiano Nolberto Ararat renunció este miércoles al arbitraje profesional por "los errores cometidos" en los últimos partidos que dirigió en la Liga, a la que dijo no quiere perjudicar.
"Muchas veces en la vida tenemos que luchar contra diferentes adversidades y no quiero seguir perjudicando con mis errores humanos al fútbol profesional colombiano, que tanto me dio, ni a los equipos que de alguna manera se preparan para conseguir resultados positivos", manifestó Ararat en su carta de renuncia, dirigida a la Comisión Arbitral Nacional.
La curiosa decisión, explicó el exjuez central, se debió también a que no consiguió "salir avante" ante "tantas exigencias" que vive el arbitraje colombiano, por lo que espera que en el futuro se logre demostrar que este oficio en Colombia "es grande y que existen muchachos con una inmensa capacidad".
El partido que lo marcó
El último partido que dirigió Ararat fue el que enfrentó el martes al Atlético Bucaramanga y al Once Caldas, que terminó 1-1, en la decimosexta jornada de la liga colombiana.
En ese duelo, el colegiado anuló un gol a los visitantes por una mano dudosa del centrocampista Juan Pablo Nieto y luego dejó de pitar una falta que le hicieron a ese mismo jugador cuando estaba en el área, por lo cual fue fuertemente criticado en las redes sociales.
Ararat, oriundo del departamento de Risaralda, destacó que en su paso como árbitro consiguió "crecer como profesional y ser humano", por lo cual solo tiene "palabras de agradecimiento" para los dirigentes del fútbol profesional colombiano y ofrece sus "más sinceras disculpas de forma pública" por los errores cometidos.
