Arteta reflects on losing Obi-Martin to Manchester United
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has described the departure of academy prospects Chido Obi and Ayden Heaven to Manchester United as "unfortunate."
Obi, 17, could feature for United in their upcoming clash against Arsenal on Sunday. He made the decision to leave North London last summer due to concerns over his progression to the senior squad.
Arteta said: "I wasn't too involved in that decision. When a player decides the best pathway is to leave there's not much you can do. It was very unfortunate because we want to keep our players from the academy and to be successful in the first team, but in the case of Chido Obi and Ayden Heaven, we couldn't do that."

Leeds announce McCormick as Executive Vice-Chairman
Leeds United have named experienced sports lawyer Peter McCormick as their new executive vice-chairman. This announcement comes as the club prepares for the departure of CEO Angus Kinnear, who will leave at the end of the season.

Leeds said: "Leeds United can confirm CEO Angus Kinnear will leave his position with the club at the end of the season. Kinnear has been in the role since 2017 and oversaw promotion to the Premier League in 2020, the ownership transition to 49ers Enterprises Global Football Group in 2023, along with the purchase of Elland Road Stadium and its return to the club.
"He will continue to serve as CEO until the end of the season to support a smooth handover process. The club is also delighted to welcome Peter McCormick, who has resigned from his current roles at the Premier League and will be joining the club as executive vice-chairman."
