Boston leave it late to beat Dagenham
{by} PA

Jai Rowe’s late goal helped relegation-battlers Boston come from behind to secure a 3-1 victory at Dagenham, whose winless run was extended to 10 Vanarama National League games.

Josh Rees had earlier headed the Daggers into the lead after only three minutes, and soon came close to a second when his 12-yard effort struck the post.

The Pilgrims were level in the 23rd minute when Jacob Hazel converted Jimmy Knowles’ low cross from the left.

With 20 minutes left, Daggers keeper Louis Jones produced a fine double save to deny Boston forward Knowles.

There was nothing Jones could do when Rowe crashed in a second for Boston in the 82nd minute, with substitute Adam Marriott wrapping things up in added time.
