Transfer news LIVE: Man Utd medical today, £13m Chelsea deal, Watkins to Arsenal
{by} Express.co.uk

We've reached the final straight of this year's winter window, with clubs across the Premier League and Europe scrambling to complete deals before Monday's deadline.

Manchester United have had a quiet window so far, but with deals lined up - both incomings and outgoings - things could be about to get busy in the final days.

Clubs have until 3 February to complete all deals

Arsenal are another team pushing hard to secure new signings, with Ollie Watkins being mooted as their much-needed striker arrival.

Clubs have until 11pm on Monday, 3 February to conclude all their dealings, with a frantic end to the window expected.

Brighton clinch £9m signing

Brighton have completed the signing of Eiran Cashin from Derby County.

Express Sport understands that the Seagulls have signed the 23-year-old in a £12million deal.

Brighton will pay the Championship outfit a £9m fee up front and a further £3m to be paid in add-ons.

Cashin completed his medical today and has put pen to paper on a five-year contract.

Dorgu flying in to complete Man Utd move

Patrick Dorgu will fly to Manchester tomorrow morning to seal his £33million move from Lecce.

Reports in Italy suggest the Dane, 20, will finalise his switch tomorrow to become Ruben Amorim's first signing.

Dorgu was left out of their 3-1 win over Parma tonight as the Italian side did not want to risk jeopardising the deal.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the left-back is now free to complete his move to Old Trafford once he flies in to Manchester airport.

Spurs make shock Garnacho approach

Tottenham have reacted to being rejected by Mathys Tel by switching their focus to Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho.

The Daily Mail report that Spurs have made an approach for the 20-year-old after being snubbed by Bayern Munich starlet Tel on Friday.

It remains to be seen whether United would entertain selling Garnacho so late in the window, or if the Argentinian fancies a move to the capital.

Meanwhile, Spurs youngster Will Lankshear has joined West Brom on loan until the end of the season.

BREAKING: Tel makes final decision on future after Spurs snub

There's been another twist in the Mathys Tel transfer saga...

The 19-year-old has now reportedly decided to stay at Bayern Munich after turning down a move to Tottenham.

The French winger is set to snub interest from the Premier League, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, to stay in Germany until the summer.

DONE DEAL! Liverpool starlet heads to Spain

Liverpool have allowed midfielder Stefan Bajcetic to join Las Palmas on loan for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old will head back to his native Spain to join the Canary Islanders as they look to protect their top-flight status for another year.

Bajcetic had spent the first half of the season on loan with Red Bull Salzburg, where he made 18 appearances.

But his loan has been cut short to allow him to get some more first-team experience under his belt.

Man City in talks to sign Porto star

Manchester City could land their fourth signing of the January transfer window after approaching Porto over the signing of Nico Gonzalez.

The midfielder, 23, is a former La Masia academy graduate with Barcelona and has emerged as a top target for Pep Guardiola as he looks to bring in cover for Rodri.

Fabrizio Romano reports City have made a 'formal approach', with talks underway between the two clubs.

However, any deal is complicated by the fact Barca have a 40 per cent sell-on fee and opportunity to buy back Nico for £25million before June 2025.

The Spaniard also has a £50m release clause with Porto, meaning City may have to dig deep into their pockets again after spending £130m on Omar Marmoush, Abdudokir Khusanov and Vitor Reis.

Everton agree deal for Flamengo star

Everton are close to finalising a loan deal to sign Carlos Alcaraz from Flamengo.

The Brazilian club have confirmed they have struck an agreement which will see the Argentinian attacker, 22, join the Toffees in a loan deal which includes an obligation to buy under certain conditions.

The Merseyside club have not publicly commented on the deal but they have been linked with Alcaraz, and The Athletic claim Flamengo's announcement is seen as 'premature'.

Alcaraz, 22, has played in the Premier League with Southampton after joining for £12m in January 2023, before heading to Flamengo last summer.
