Alisha Lehmann's tag as football's most glamorous star is under threat from Kiana Dufour.
Fans were left lauding a new 'queen of football' after the Southern Mississippi star went viral after the women's team announced Dufour has landed a deal at the club. The 19-year-old Brazilian-born sensation has sent fans into a frenzy since her scholarship was confirmed.

Dufour reportedly played at a semi-professional level in Canada before securing the move, which was announced by the school in November. But she is now going viral after fans discovered her stunning snaps on Instagram, where she has caught the eye of high-profile admirers.
Dubbed “officially the queen of football” by one fan in the comments section of her post, Dufour has more than 250k followers, including football star Memphis Depay, while Jesse Lingard, Reiss Nelson and Weston McKennie have all liked some of her posts.
Other fans in her comments section have swooned over her beauty, with one account calling her: “Literal perfection”. A second lauded her as “The full package.”
Meanwhile, a third fan quipped: “Southern Miss just went from soccer to samba overnight Kiana Dufour is a game-changer.”
Dufour's pinned Instagram post is her proud upload announcing her joining the Golden Eagles as she posed for photoshoots in the team kit, adding the caption: “blessed&committed southern miss to the top”. The teenager's other posts see her posing in a barely-there bikini and tight black dresses for gala nights out. However, her new fans will have to wait a while before they see her in action.
That's because the 2025 soccer season doesn't start until August. But Dufour will be hoping she doesn't have much rust to shake off after representing Haiti at youth level and playing as a striker while based in Quebec.
Dufour reportedly underwent two operations as a teenager to reattach the bones of her pelvis due to hip dysplasia. Quebec news site Courrier Laval said she needed physiotherapy to start walking, running and jumping again, as she overcame the career-threatening issue to earn a scholarship.
