The January transfer window is nearly a week old and fans are yet to see the market spring into life. It is believed that one big-money deal could be all that's needed to get the ball rolling in a month when business is usually tricky.

The likes of Manchester City, Tottenham and Newcastle are also expected to be active if the right opportunities present themselves, while those in the thick of a Premier League relegation battle will naturally look for ways to strengthen.
AC Milan join Marcus Rashford race
AC Milan are interested in offering Marcus Rashford the chance to revive his career at the San Siro.
That's according to The Guardian, who are reporting that Rashford is a player of interest to the Italian giants.
However, they will only take him on loan if the vast majority of his salary is covered by Manchester United.
Man Utd add Patrick Dorgu to shortlist
Manchester United have added Patrick Dorgu to their list of wing-back targets, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 20-year-old, who plays for Lecce, is said to have been scouted by the Red Devils over the last few months.
Milos Kerkez and Nuno Mendes also feature on the list but are expected to cost significantly more than Dorgu.
Palace preparing new bid for Ben Doak
Crystal Palace are preparing to submit an improved bid for Liverpool winger Ben Doak, according to Sky Sports.
The Eagles lodged a proposal worth around £16m last week, but it was swiftly rejected.
Ipswich Town have also been linked with a potential move for Doak, who is spending the season on loan at Middlesbrough.
Bournemouth set to sign Julio Soler
Bournemouth are closing in on the signing of Lanus defender Julio Soler in a deal worth up to £11.5m.
That's according to The Times, who are reporting that Soler will undergo a medical in the coming days.
The Cherries will pay an initial fee in the region of £6.6m with a number of add-ons included in the deal.
Man Utd 'actively exploring' Kolo Muani deal
Manchester United are stepping up their efforts to sign Randal Kolo Muani on loan, according to The Athletic.
He is widely expected to leave PSG this month, having struggled for game time this season.
United, Tottenham and Juventus are said to be leading the race for his signature as things stand.
All three clubs are 'actively exploring' the possibility of landing Kolo Muani on a temporary basis.
Ipswich linked with Nemanja Matic
Ipswich Town are weighing up a surprise move for Lyon midfielder Nemanja Matic, according to Foot Mercato.
Matic previously worked with Blues manager Kieran McKenna during his time at Manchester United.
However, it is said that he has 'no intention' of leaving Lyon, making a move to Portman Road unlikely.
Villa name price for Jhon Duran
Aston Villa will demand at least £60m to sell Jhon Duran this month, according to talkSPORT.
The forward is said to be attracting interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs, with PSG among those mentioned.
