Manchester United have now made an offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Mendes as they are keen to sign their main target for the January transfer window as per Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport. The report has suggested that the Portuguese international is interested by the potential of moving to Old Trafford as he is unhappy at Parc des Princes.
Arsenal eye Milan's Chukwueze in swap deal
Sources from Italy are reporting that Arsenal could move for AC Milan star Samuel Chukwueze to cover for the injured Bukayo Saka.
With Saka ruled out for a number of weeks after picking up a hamstring injury, the Spaniard has his eyes on AC Milan star Chukwueze as cover for the winger. According to reports, Arsenal could offer Jakub Kiwior in a swap deal for the 25-year-old, with Milan reportedly interested in the defender.

Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim says he knows he must deliver results or face the sack despite only just taking on the role at Old Trafford.
Amorim said: "The manager of Manchester United can never, no matter what, be comfortable. They paid the buy-out clause to get me. I know that if you don't win, every manager is in danger and I like that because that is the job. You can argue that I have been here one month and I’ve had only a few training sessions but we are not winning. That is the reality and I'm quite comfortable with that."
