Gakpo sends cryptic message to Salah over uncertain future

Cody Gakpo sent out a message to Mohamed Salah amid speculation over the Egyptian's uncertain future at Liverpool.

Speaking to the club's official website, Gakpo said: "It's very special what we are all witnessing. The amount of goals he scores but the assists he gives as well, the way he plays the game, how he puts other attacking players or midfielders like myself in a position to score and to be dangerous is from a high level. "I hope for us and for him that he can continue doing that for a long time. We are very lucky to have him and proud that we can be his teammate and try to make him better. And he is trying to make us better as well."

Arsenal likely to be offered PSG outcast Kolo Muani

Per The Standard, Arsenal could be offered Paris Saint-Germain's Randal Kolo Muani as they look for Bukayo Saka's replacement.

The Gunners might be forced to raid the January transfer market after they lost two of their wide players, Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling, to injuries last week. While Saka has been ruled out for several weeks after he tore his hamstring in the club's 5-1 win over Crystal Palace last Saturday, Sterling picked up a knee injury.

PSG eye Villa's Duran as January Target

Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly targeting Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran as a priority signing during the January transfer window, according to Ekrem Konur.

PSG head coach Luis Enrique has identified the 21-year-old Colombian international as a potential replacement for Randal Kolo Muani. The French club is looking to bolster their attacking options, and Duran's performances have placed him firmly on their radar. Duran has enjoyed a strong start to the Premier League season, netting seven goals in 17 appearances for Villa. His consistency in front of goal has attracted interest not just from PSG but also from other top clubs, including Chelsea and Napoli.

Maresca hints at January departures from Chelsea

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has acknowledged the likelihood of player departures during the January transfer window, suggesting changes could be on the horizon for the club. He revealed that some squad members, particularly those who have struggled for game time, may seek exits.

"We have a clear idea about the players, but we have players that - probably because they are not playing a lot - will leave or something like this," he said.

"In this moment, it's not something we pay attention to as we have two or three games before that."
