MLS side New York Red Bulls have Cameroonian forward and ex-Bayern Munich star Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting on a free transfer.
The official statement from the club read: "The New York Red Bulls have signed Cameroon International Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting to an MLS contract. Choupo-Moting will sign as a Designated Player on a two-year MLS contract through 2026 with an option for 2027 pending receipt of his P-1 visa and ITC."
Man Utd transfer interest rebuffed by Inter & Dimarco
Manchester United are keen on signing a new left-back in the January transfer window and had accordingly approached Inter to rope in Federico Dimarco, however, Tuttosport claims that the Serie A club as well as the player rejected their offer. Manchester United are keen on signing Paris Saint-Germain star Nuno Mendes, and their hopes of signing the Portuguese star might be boosted by manager Ruben Amorim.
According to Sky Sport's Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies and AC Milan star Theo Hernandez are also being considered. But 22-year-old Mendes retains a 'strong interest' from the Red Devils.
