Southampton part ways with manager Russell Martin
Southampton have parted ways with head coach Russell Martin just hours after their humiliating 5-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur at home. The club's U-21 coach Simon Rusk will take charge of the team on an interim basis.
The official statement from the club read: "We can confirm that we have taken the difficult decision to part ways with our Men's First Team Manager, Russell Martin."
West Ham ready to sell Paqueta
According to the Daily Mail, West Ham are reportedly ready to sell star midfielder Lucas Paqueta in the upcoming January transfer window. Paqueta is reportedly keen on moving back to Brazil and joining his boyhood club Flamengo. The Hammers, on the other hand, are planning to use the transfer fee to sign Igor Jesus from Botafogo.

The ex-Chelsea player's new contract will run until 2028 with an option to extend it by another year. He will become one of the top earners in the club after signing the dotted and could earn in the region of €4m-€5m per season.
