Southampton part ways with manager Russell Martin
Southampton have parted ways with head coach Russell Martin just hours after their humiliating 5-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur at home. The club's U-21 coach Simon Rusk will take charge of the team on an interim basis.
The official statement from the club read: "We can confirm that we have taken the difficult decision to part ways with our Men's First Team Manager, Russell Martin."
West Ham ready to sell Paqueta
According to the Daily Mail, West Ham are reportedly ready to sell star midfielder Lucas Paqueta in the upcoming January transfer window. Paqueta is reportedly keen on moving back to Brazil and joining his boyhood club Flamengo. The Hammers, on the other hand, are planning to use the transfer fee to sign Igor Jesus from Botafogo.

Veteran German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has opened up on whether he would continue at Bayern Munich beyond the 2024/25 campaign and sign a new deal.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the custodian said: "I believe both sides would be happy if things continue. But there's no rush at the moment, that's for sure. First, I need to recover and get healthy again because I have a minor issue with my rib."

USMNT star Christian Pulisic is in advanced talks with AC Milan over a new contract as he is close to penning a new long-term deal with the Serie A giants, according to Matteo Moretto.
The ex-Chelsea player's new contract will run until 2028 with an option to extend it by another year. He will become one of the top earners in the club after signing the dotted and could earn in the region of €4m-€5m per season.

Gary O'Neil has lost his job as Wolves head coach after a chaotic loss to Ipswich that left his team with just nine points from 16 games.
