Arteta opens up on January transfer plans
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has shared his expectations for the upcoming January transfer window, suggesting that while the club typically avoids heavy activity during this period, unexpected opportunities may arise.
"I never expect January to be super busy but some surprises always come," he said.
"Hopefully the availability of the squad is going to be better in recent weeks."
Emery not yet willing to think of January transfer window
Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has stated that his attention is currently on the team's immediate fixtures rather than the upcoming January transfer window. While aware of Profit and Sustainability Rules that may influence transfer activities, Emery emphasized that discussions about reinforcements would occur at a later date.
"There is still work to do in this month and then, in case we can do something with the possibility to spend money and improve the squad, we are going to do [it]," he said.
"The club is working on it but I am working on the match tomorrow to get the best out of the players we have an the performances we need and nothing more. When it arrives, I am going to sit down with the club and look at the possibilities we can have, but not yet."

Guardiola dismisses January transfers
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has addressed speculation regarding potential spending in the January transfer window, emphasizing his preference for recovering injured players over signing new ones.
"No. What I want is my players back - the players that we have. I want the squad that we had at the beginning of the season that were desperately competing," he said.
"I said many times, this is the only regret I have. I don't have these players - not new ones. In the right moment, we will see. The fact that we have record revenue, which I must congratulate the club over, that doesn't mean we have big, big resources to buy whatever we want.
"The transfer market has shown how expensive players are in the past four or five years. I'm sorry, we're not the best in those terms."

Amorim ‘tearing his hair out’ over Bruno as Utd urged to sell
Ruben Amorim will be “tearing his hair out” over “indisciplined” Bruno Fernandes, says Jamie Carragher, with Manchester United being urged to sell.
"Selling must be a consideration, however, because Fernandes is one of the few players who can attract a significant fee if profitability and sustainability rules are an issue," wrote Carragher in his column for The Telegraph.
Howe dismisses Tonali exit rumors
Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has firmly denied speculation linking midfielder Sandro Tonali with a move away from the club.
"I've got no plans on losing Sandro. I laugh because that just seems out of the blue for me," he told reporters.
"Sandro is a vital part of what we're doing, our investment in him is long term. I've been really pleased with him personally - we've built up a strong relationship. He's improving in all aspects of the play, naturally through the games that he's playing. The ban was difficult because he's only training and he's not learning from the game."

City eye key January signings in Zubimendi and Guimaraes
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has received backing to target Martín Zubimendi and Bruno Guimarães in the January transfer window, according to ESPN. The Premier League champions are looking to bolster their squad to revive a faltering season, following a strong financial performance highlighted by record revenues of £715 million ($906m) and a transfer profit of £139 million in their latest annual report.
City’s current form has raised concerns, with the team managing only one win in their last ten matches. This slump has placed their Champions League campaign at risk and left them trailing in the Premier League, where they currently sit fourth, eight points behind league leaders Liverpool.
Real Madrid eye Dalot & Martinez in Janaury
