Man Utd join Liverpool in race to sign Larsson

Per Sky Germany, Manchester United are all set to compete with rivals Liverpool to secure the signature of 20-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson.

The Bundesliga side value the youngster at around €50m and if any club match their demand, they will be willing to sell the Sweden international, who joined them from Malmo in the summer of 2023.

Sheffield United interested in Walker homecoming transfer

Veteran English full-back Kyle Walker has been linked with a sensational return to Sheffield United as Manchester City aim to rejuvenate their ageing squad, according to talkSPORT. Walker came through Sheffield United's academy before going on to become an England international and six-time Premier League winner with City.

Postecoglou hints Spurs could sign new striker

Tottenham Hotspur boss Angelo Postecoglou admitted that his team need to buy new players to bolster their attack. Speaking to reporters, the Spurs manager said: "Signing a new striker? There's no doubt we need some bolstering in that front third over the next couple of transfer windows. Dom coming in has been great, but again we can't overload him either. It's something we're aware of and need to plan for."

PSG clear stance on Luis Enrique's future

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has cleared his stance on manager Luis Enrique's future at the club. Speaking to L’Equipe, the PSG chief said: "I can’t believe what is being written [about Luis Enrique] and I even find it ridiculous, but we won’t let it affect our football at all […] we have a short, medium, and long-term strategy and I have full faith in the manager, in the players, and all of our team."

PSG drop out of Gyokeres transfer race

Per Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly pulled out of the transfer race to sign Sporting CP sensation Viktor Gyokeres. The Ligue 1 champions were at one point keen on signing the striker and their sporting director Luis Campos reportedly contacted the player's representatives to get ahead in the title race. However, once Campos came back to Paris and got in touch with manager Luis Enrique, the Spanish coach rejected the idea of signing the striker.

Liverpool closing in on offering new deal to Salah

Per TEAMtalk, Liverpool are closing in on offering a new deal to their star player Mohamed Salah and they remain hopeful that the Egyptian will put pen to paper on the new contract soon.

The Reds ideally want Salah to sign the new deal by this month as in January, the Egyptian will be free to negotiate pre contracts with other clubs having entered the final six months of his current deal.

Fenerbahce close to signing Al-Nassr star

Per journalist Rudy Galetti, Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce have reached a verbal agreement with Al-Nassr star Talisca over his transfer to the club in the upcoming January transfer window. Fenerbache are now negotiating terms of the transfer with the Saudi Pro League club and are hopeful of securing a deal soon.

For Denmark coach Hjulmand could replace Lopetegui

Former Denmark national team head coach Kasper Hjulmand is in line to replace under-fire West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui at the Premier League club, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg. Hjulmand left the Denmark coaching role after the team's exit from the European Championship in the summer and is currently without a job.

Man Utd remain interested in signing Yildiz

Per Sky Sports' Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United remain keen on signing Juventus' 19-year-old forward Kenan Yildiz. The teenager has also attracted interest from European giants like Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Arsenal, however, he is likely to continue playing for the Serie A giants in the 2025/26 season.
