Whitecaps part ways with manager Vanni Sartini
The Vancouver Whitecaps parted ways with manager Vanni Sartini on Monday, with the 48-year-old departing after just over three years as the club's manager.
He led them to an eighth place finish in the West during the regular season, before a 5-0 Wildcard round playoff victory over the Portland Timbers followed by a Round 1 best-of-three series exit to No. 1 seed LAFC in the postseason in 2024.
Man Utd target Marmoush and Boniface for January move
Manchester United are reportedly looking to freshen up their attack for Ruben Amorim and are considering two Bundesliga forwards as potential targets.
As per Sky Germany, Manchester United have earmarked Eintracht Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush and Bayer Leverkusen's Victor Boniface for the winter transfer window, as the Red Devils want to hand Amorim the best possible squad to try and rescue United's poor start to the season. Both the forwards have long-standing contracts with their current clubs and Manchester United will have to pay through their pockets to try and sign them in January.

Spanish defender Inigo Martínez, who is in the final year of his contract at Barcelona, has opened up about his future at the club. Speaking to reporters, Martinez, "I'm not focused on that… if we extend, very good. If not, well, I'll say that I spent two years at Barça. My full focus is on the pitch."
De Bruyne opens up on Manchester City contract
Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has opened up on his contract situation at the club and revealed if he is planning to extend his stay at Etihad Stadium.
Speaking to reporters, the Belgian said, "I honestly don't know. We will see. I've put basically everything to the side when I got injured. Now I'd rather still get better first and see how I am, and all the rest will come. There will be talks, we'll see."

Ruben Amorim's move to Manchester United from Sporting has led to speculation the Portuguese boss could raid his former club in a bid to strengthen his Red Devils team. United have reportedly already enquired about Quenda, but it has now emerged that the club have been interested in the wonderkid for some time.
