Real Madrid are planning a dual swoop for Bayer Leverkusen’s star midfielder Florian Wirtz and manager Xabi Alonso, according to Sky Sports Deutschland.

The 20-year-old German international has been a standout performer in the Bundesliga and has attracted attention from Manchester City and Bayern Munich. It will be a tough battle for Los Blancos as he has a contract with Leverkusen until 2027.
