Ryan Reynolds is the co-owner of Welsh club Wrexham.
Ryan Reynolds has posted a previously unseen clip from the Deadpool & Wolverine film which appeared to feature a Wrexham star.
Deadpool & Wolverine, starring Wrexham co-owner Reynolds and the likes of Hugh Jackman and Emma Corrin was first released back in July.
On Tuesday night, Reynolds took to social media and posted a previously unseen clip from the film, with a caption that read: "This scene was deleted from the film but not my heart. Deadpool & Wolverine is out on @DisneyPlus today."
Reacting on social media, fans felt that Wrexham star Paul Mullin made a cameo.
One fan said: "Deleted scenes are like hidden gems, Thanks for always giving us the best, Ryan!."
Another tweeted: "YOU CUT A PAUL MULLIN LINE???"
A third fan added: "Hearing Welsh Deadpool say “f*** o** c***” was easily the best part lmao."
Someone else wrote: "@PMullin7 deleted line from #DeadpoolAndWolverine is rather fruity. That was the only way he was ever speaking to the boss like that!"
A fifth commented: "Nah not Paul Mullin calling Ryan Reynolds the C word."
You can watch the footage below. The video contains strong language.
Back in July, Reynolds took to social media to introduce Welshpool, while posting a string of images of him on the film set along with Mullin.
He wrote: "You may have noticed one member of the Deadpool Corps was far deadlier than the rest. WELSHPOOL."
On the pitch, Mullin has so far made 16 appearances for Wrexham, scoring three goals.
The Red Dragons are currently third in the League One table, two points behind second-placed Birmingham City and four off leaders Wycombe Wanderers.
Speaking after Wrexham's EFL Trophy match against Port Vale, manager Phil Parkinson said: "The aim was to have a really good work-out which was key. To get some valuable minutes in players' legs who needed it and I thought it was a really good performance from us. There were so many positives.
"It was a shame to concede so late. We would love to have won the game because that gets a little bit more of a buzz around the dressing room but I am so pleased with the way the lads played."
