AS Roma in talks with Roberto Mancini for managerial role

AS Roma has reportedly initiated contact with Roberto Mancini regarding the club’s managerial position, per Sky Italy. The discussions come as current head coach Ivan Juric, appointed in September on a one-year deal following Daniele De Rossi’s unexpected dismissal, faces mounting pressure after a difficult start.

Since taking over, Juric has struggled to deliver consistent results, with just four wins in 11 matches. Roma’s current standing in Serie A, positioned 12th and only four points clear of the relegation zone, has intensified calls for a leadership shift.

Despite speculation about an early contract termination, Neymar is reportedly staying with Al Hilal until at least next summer, according to Florian Plettenberg. Recent reports indicated the Saudi club was considering ending his contract prematurely, but Neymar himself is “unaware of any such developments.”

Currently sidelined due to a muscle injury, the 32-year-old forward is expected to miss six to eight weeks of action. Neymar remains focused on his long-term goal of competing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, reinforcing his commitment to his career and national team.
