Alexander-Arnold to earn £14-15 million at Real Madrid
Real Madrid is reportedly preparing to offer Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold a contract that would extend until the 2029-2030 season, according to Ekrem Konur.
Discussions are said to be ongoing between the Spanish club and Alexander-Arnold’s representatives, with the player reportedly content with the proposed contract length. Real Madrid's proposed deal is expected to be worth between £14-15 million per year, nearly doubling the right-back’s current annual earnings of £9.36 million at Liverpool.
Liverpool send scouts to watch Sevilla's Bade
Liverpool are keeping a close watch on Sevilla centre-back Loic Bade as a potential replacement for Virgil van Dijk, according to Diario AS.
Van Dijk, 33, has yet to agree to a contract extension with Liverpool, with his current deal set to expire next summer. The Reds sent scouts to monitor Bade, particularly during Sevilla’s recent 5-1 loss to Barcelona, where the 24-year-old provided an assist. Sevilla rejected bids from Stuttgart and AS Roma for Bade last summer and extended his contract until 2029. They are reportedly seeking offers exceeding €20 million.
Haaland and Real Madrid share mutual interest
According to Mundo Deportivo, there is reported "mutual interest" between Real Madrid and Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian forward is said to be intrigued by a potential switch to Los Blancos, with Real Madrid keen on securing a deal for the prolific goalscorer. Haaland’s current contract with Manchester City runs until 2027, but the report suggests that Pep Guardiola’s future at the club could play a crucial role in determining whether the striker stays with the Premier League side.
